Can the attachments be removed & washed in a washing machine?

As far as I can tell, the yellow attachment are removable for washing (except for the large ball-shaped one that you can simply swish in water to clean). I use the long gray duster the most and vacuum that after using. I would buy this set again. Very easy to adjust, reaches my high ceiling's corners, and extremely well made (not often the case these days!).

Is this a good extendable duster with a tight sturdy pole?

I marvel at how sturdy this entire apparatus is. The pole has levers that snap in place. Entire product is very well made. Love the colors, too.

Is this good for outside cleaning spider webs?

I have never cleaned them from outside, but would suggest using the long yellow mop head which is machine washable. I save the smaller yellow one for inside windows.
