FieldpieceASLS2 Silicone Test Leads

As previously mentioned; these leads do not allow interchangeable probes including: alligator clips, needle/micro probes. I also got them for a simple lead replacement given a “mishap” lol! Avoiding the “kit replacement “ of ~$30 became inevitable after realizing that the probes are fixed. BUT, they seem to be made of brass or other softerMetal and resistance is extremely minimal @0.00 ohms vs 135k ohms with needle probes directly plugged-in. Ultimately, I recommend the full kit! I could’ve saved some money! But these are an extra set of great probes with good continuity! Second picture is hopefully good enough to show the softness of the probe after 2 scrapes with a utility knife

Good leads for your various meters and other Fieldpiece accessories. For some reason these aren't as rugged and thick as the previous leads that Fieldpiece used to manufacture and that came with their meters. They still work fine but they are prone to wearing out faster than the previous leads from being repeatedly wrapped and unwrapped from your meter. This isn't that big of a deal because most meter leads meet an untimely and premature demise when you short them to a ground source because some BUNGHOLE wires around a disconnect switch.Unrelated note: Never wire around a disconnect switch.

The tips on these Fieldpiece ASLS2 leads I received are fixed. They cannot be removed to attach my alligator clips. Since I have the alligator clips which worked with my original leadsI bought this set of just the two leads not the "Kit" with the alligator clip leads connect on my original leads. If you want to be able to "change the tips order Fieldpiece ADK7 but there around double the price: The kit comes with the removable tip lead. (According to the picture. ) I chose the ones I purchased because they should be OEM quality. Time will tell as far as durability. Two stars as an advisory. I should have studied the pictures and or descriptions more carefully.

Pay attention to these meter leads. Although they work perfectly fine they do not have the removable ends in order for it to work with an amp clamp or other Fieldpiece meter device.

I go through a set of these leads about once a year. I use them daily with work and they seem to work well. The quality of these are good and i think the reason I have to replace them is because of where the wire bends when I wrap up my meter.
