Was a bit wary about ordering this, after reading all the comments about the hassle trying to put it together. When it did arrive (pleasingly on time as well) I took one look at the instructions and promptly threw them in the bin !! I then went on to YouTube, searched "plastic jigsaw shade" and found loads of videos on how to put the shade together. I followed one video and it literally took 15 minutes to put the shade together.The only piece of advice I would give is, getting the electricity cable to sit square in the shade when it is completely put together can be tricky. To solve that frustration, leave out the last piece of the jigsaw and use a lampshade ring instead to hang inside the shade. It will also make changing a light bulb a lot easier. The shade looks great both lit and unlit and is a nice feature in any room.

Looks brilliant and was surprisingly easy to assemble (though as I've spent years following origami diagrams I may have an unfair advantage in that regard). My only gripe is that as there're no dedicated "fitting" pieces it can be tricky getting it over the light bulb, and the way that the ball closes around the cord can gouge into the wire's coating, but as this is not something that'll be removed and replaced frequently it's a relatively minor complaint. That aside, it's a really unique light shade that anyone who loves a good puzzle would really enjoy. Would definitely recommend.

Very funny/frustrating. Hours of unexpected fun. Had a piece left over!

I love it, it seems difficult to assembled in first attempt but I’ve done it watching in a you tube demo. It’s a stress reliever as well.

Disappointing item purchased. It is hard to fit the item around the bulb, especially when it is difficult to see the top of the ceiling and having to do those origami patterns. Ended up having to buy another lampshade

Once you connect it together it is a beautiful lamp shade but it does take patience and time.

4 hours and still not done, my daugher wants to burn it and fb it live as we do it, I will persevere tomorrow , it will not beat me!!

le montage est un peu compliqué, le plan est très mal fait. sa habillé parfaitement la lampe.
