Bormioli RoccoNadia Cooler, 15.6oz -Set of 4,

I recently ordered this set of Bormioli glasses, and now I'm back to buy more. They are just perfect for my needs. They are a nice large size, but aren't too big. Perfect for a handful of ice cubes and some soda or iced tea. All four glasses I received were in flawless condition, with no damage during shipping or flaws in the glass from production. There are no rough or sharp seams in the glass anywhere. The glass is very solid in weight and heavy on the bottom, to help prevent the glass from tipping over. The glass is thick enough that they can bump into another cup and they don't shatter. They are crystal clear, with no coloring or shadowing in the glass anywhere. These are the perfect glasses at an affordable price!

Heavy, sturdy, have a great feel of quality. One of mine had a kerf mark on it near the lip, but otherwise flawless. Clinked mine around - no damage. They say hand wash preferable, but I put mine in the dishwasher constantly, no issues. Compared with Libby or some other comparably priced high ball, these are just so much more beautiful and 'special' feeling. I have bought a fair amount of Bormioli glass - it's all been great.

I picked up a set of these exact same glasses at Bed, Bath and Beyond a year ago, and they've been amazing. Unfortunately, I broke a few of them - which is totally my fault - so, I was happy to buy a replacement. These are *gorgeous* glasses in general, However, in many subtle ways that add up, the glasses I got from Amazon are of a worse quality. They feel much cheaper; the glass isn't as refined. The original glass has a tiny cross logo that with "Bormioli Rocco" text on the bottom and a beautiful glass bubble trapped inside. The new glasses from Amazon have neither.It's very difficult to convey these differences, especially since I've been using the old glasses for a year. The best way I can describe it is this - you know when you go to a Dollar Shopper or a similar type of store and can get glasses for a dollar? That's what the glass here kind of feels like. Sad to return these, although the glass model is beautiful - I guess I'll just have to pick then up from Bed, Bath and Beyond again.

It's hard to tell by the photos how thin the glass is. I thought this may be an issue until I accidently hit the side of the glass on my tile countertop and it didn't break. It may be thin, but it is definitely durable. I also needed time getting use to the weight being noticeably heavy towards the bottom. So for the first couple of weeks I wasn't too happy. After several more uses, I began to change my opinion. The glass proved it's toughness and I got used to the feel of the cooler. Now, I can recommend it without reservation.

We registered for these glasses for our wedding and didn't receive enough of them to replace our old glasses; we liked the few we got so much that we ended up purchasing the rest of the set. They look delicate but feel solid; can be used for everyday purposes or look great on a fancy dinner table. They've held up over four years of being washed constantly in the dishwasher without any chipping or fogging; no hand washing necessary. (We also have glassware from the same line in highball glasses, rocks glasses, and shot glasses for occasional parties; all are excellent quality and look great on the shelves.)

The Bormioli Rocco Nadia Coolers are nice looking glasses, but my set of 4 have all broken already. The last one broke a few weeks ago leading to the entire set having been lost in about 6 months. In the same time, the only other glasses we've lost have been some cheap wine glasses. I would not recommend these unless you are very careful and certainly not if you wash dishes by hand and do it in any volume.

I was excited about the looks of this glass. My set of four came in the mail less than a week ago, now three of them are in the garbage. One almost sliced my lip. I thought that was a fluke and didn't worry about it too much. Then a second one had a damaged and sharp edge. Now I just washed the third of four and cut my hand. These are elegant looking glasses that are actually very cheaply made and a bit dangerous. I would never ever buy them again. I would give zero stars, if it were possible.

The glasses were shattered and left a cloud of glass dust on my table and floor, which was a pain to clean up
