Love the matte black, very modern. Bought the wall plates from the same company. Install was very easy, the bracket has holes so you can move the switches around to align them perfectly. Everything sits flush on the wall with no gaps in my case, may be different for different houses. They have a rough feel since they’re a matte finish which I like but just an FYI. Only downside I see, which is personal preference, is that the little led’s on them aren’t a cool white like all the other lights in my house. I’ll be swapping out all of my other switches in the house to update the feel and add a touch of modern.

I purchased several of these switches for my black garage and I was specifically looking for ones with indicator lights, which these have. They have a great appearance and look fantastic. However, the matte finish is not very durable as it tends to scuff easily and leaves fingerprints. Another point to note is that they make a very audible clicking sound, which may be surprising for some. Despite this, the clicking sound doesn't bother me much.

I wanted black switches with a small locator light and was having trouble finding anything single pole in the big name brands. Since this was UL listed I decided to try it. It took less than 30 minutes to replace the bay of 4 white mismatched switches that were there. There were no issues installing them and they are made well.To address “Mr. Jablowme’s” review - all you need to do if you can’t manage to loop the wire around is unscrew the screw completely. It will come out. Then you put the wire on top of the metal piece, and screw the screw back in. That’s it. No need to damage the switch or cut anything. Those black plastic ribs are there to help prevent shorts.My photo contains the matching LIDER switch plate, which I also recommend.I am ordering all of the outlets I need now to have a fully matched room. The only negative I have seen is that they do not offer a GFI (that I can find) so I may not be able to fully match everything.
