At first I thought I got one that didn't work, but there's a pull tab between the wings that's kind of hidden. Once I pulled that out it started chirping and my cat loves to bat it around. I'm wondering if the negative reviews were people who just didn't see that pull tab.

My cats are notorius for demolishing their toys the first day, feathers and all. We have had this one for a month or so and still going strong. Finally, a toy worth the money. Highly recommend.

I have 2 Maine Coons, and my female hunts these like there is no tomorrow. She bats them under doors, we find them and throw them out for her to scramble after. In the morning we will find they have been deposited in her food bowl. Great purchase.

I wasn’t sure my kitty would be interested since she has so many toys she never uses, but THIS- I’ve caught her playing alone with it. Finally, a toy she finds entertaining enough (for now at least). If you don’t have a toy like it already, it’s worth it to add some variety to the toy collection in my opinion.

My cats had no interest in this bird, but my dog absolutely loves it. She plays with it every day. I wouldn't recommend it for a large or destructive dog, but for tiny breeds it's fantastic.

Honestly, this is so cute and my cats love it. At the top of the purple ball, it tore about 1/4 of the way around almost immediately after the cats began to play. While it still hasn’t separated or torn all the way around yet, I am expecting it to split in two at any time. Regardless, I would purchase again. I assume that the stitching connecting the long neck to the purple ball just wasn’t secure on the specific toy I received, but due to the quality of the rest of the toy, I don’t expect that I would encounter that same issue again. My cats love to play after hearing the chirps, and the chirps aren’t unbearable, constant, loud, or annoying. They are just fun.

I bought Julie a couple other toys with noise and feathers that she loves and carries around the house. But this toy is probably her absolute favorite! It chirps, so I hear her playing with it all the time! Great buy!!

They must like it because they have played with and destroyed two of these now. The feathers go first, then the decorative cords and the head 😂. Lastly the body and the stuffing. They seem to enjoy this toy quite a bit. The noise is not irritating to me (unless it’s 3am). 4/5 stars - could maybe be a little more durable of a body.

My cats LOVE this toy they go crazy for the chirping sounds. The feathers didn't last long only because they love it so much HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My cat will just swat at this toy by himself until he’s tired. I think he really likes that it makes noise every time he touches it. Really uses those hunting instincts! Not sure how long the battery will last but I will definitely be buying a replacement when it’s dead.

The chirping sound keeps the cat challenged. Not like toy balls. This really piques his interest
