Gemini Wind Spinner W/Solar Crackle Globe

It's a nice ornament that I've placed near my pond. Maybe it'll help keep the heron at bay though that's not the main reason I got it. The solar powered nightlight has been reliable every night which is a nice touch. Quite often find those don't last but it's been a number of weeks now with no problem.

Stunning ornament for garden. Wind spinner is mesmerising to watch. Can't comment on the solar light as yet only just installed. Only negative comment is that I would have preferred longer ground spikes for greater stability as my garden is quite exposed to wind. Well packaged and easy to put together. So impressed I've bought 2 more.

This is a lovely thing, but the screw-together pole is not very robust, and is better reinforced in some way.

I love everything about thus windspinner. It looks lovely, It works!. It's quite mesmerising when it's going. Which with the slightest breeze it moves. I did as instructed and left it two days before switching the globe on and to be honest I wasn't expecting much as we haven't had any sunny. However, on switching on later and waiting til dark I was very surprised to see it steadily going the colours looking lovely and carrying on doing so for several hours. Not sure how many as I'd gone to bed after a couple of hours. The light is not intrusive so won't disturb any neighbours. I could only upload one video as can't upload the video of the night lights . But again I could just watch them for hours. Overall I am very pleased with the product and the price was excellent definitely value for money. I had spent hours looking at wind spinners before deciding on this one and I'm very pleased I did.

Recently (in windless conditions), I admired a peacock design wind spinner in my daughters garden and to my amazement she instantly offered me one, since she had bought two. I duly arrived home, built the peacock wind spinner and popped in in the garden. It looked very nice and was very colourful, the only downside to it is that it didn't actually rotate, which is a bit of a disadvantage for a wind SPINNER. (My daughter later revealed that her one didn't rotate either, well it might in a hurricane, but not with any wind that it is likely to encounter )! So I decided that I would really like a wind spinner that actually did rotate and having read the reviews, ordered this one. It took a couple of minutes to assemble (I also squirted the bearings with WD40, to attempt to prevent rust). A capricious light breeze played around the garden and to my delight this one does actually rotate. Obviously it is not going to fly around like a whirling dervish with no wind, but it doesn't take much of a breeze to get it move a bit. I was somewhat wary that the "colour changing globe" would be a bit tacky, but actually it is fairly subtle and not gaudy like the Blackpool illuminations. Having bearings as this spinner has, is obviously what allows it to rotate fairly readily, but it even looks interesting when it is still. So for the worryingly reasonable price, so far I am happy with it :-)

Agree with other reviews, a great addition to the garden, good quality, bigger than I thought. Very happy, glad I bought it and would recommend. If there is one issue, it's that the stake could be longer to give it a bit more height.
