Christmas Candlelight Service was lighted and safe with these drip protectors. No hot wax on hands or on the carpet. Flexible but firm heavyweight paper with pre-perforated center to allow for easy insertion of the candle.

A friend purchased it previously, so I knew it works for what we needed it for.

I bought these for a Christmas service at my church, and they do what they are supposed to do: keep wax off your hands. I found they work best if you put them on the candle from the top of the candle, so that the little triangle points in the hole of the paper point up toward the wick. If you slide them on from the bottom of the candle, wax will flow quite freely onto your hand. They are simple, plain, and thin but they work. No problems or complaints from the 50 or so in attendance. That said, don't use these to make a candle safe for little kids (under age 7). You cannot make a candle safe for little kids. We used battery-powered LED tea lights for the kids to hold.

Got these for my grandsons wedding and they worked well.

For years I never had bobeches until I found this pack of 1000 on Amazon. Originally I hesitated between these ones and the chic boches made of glass for sale on this site. The price made a big difference to me and I opted for the paper version. At the end of the day these bobeches are nothing more than a circular piece of light and white cardboard with a hole in it's center. One has to be careful that they are Flat when put in place between the candle and the candelabra. If not then gravity will have the last word: chaos! For years I had wax stains on my tablecloths and I consumed a lot of energy to get rid of them with an iron and sheets of absorbing paper or even a special product that was not always convincing depending on the difficulty. The bobeches are efficient, but on the condition you set them well. It is not a really aesthetic product but. It gives a no taste aspect to the whole object, but ok...I thought practical...

It worked great for our ceremony. It kept hands protected from dripping candle wax.
