Pilgrim the new Tulip?
A good start to a new small town series with some connection to Tulip (my favourite place ever!) Loved Oliver and his reluctance to get involved with Eva, a strong, fiesty, curvy lady. The chemistry between them was too strong for either of them to resist though. As with the other series there was a meddling older character, Eva's mother. Would have liked a bit more involvement from Tulip but the humour throughout was the same and the other characters in the story very likeable. Looking forward to the rest of this series. Read an ARC for an honest review,

Really great to read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I like that it sort of follows on from the hometown heroes series. I loved the maon characters and I am hoping to read more about them in other books.

Sweet, Small-town love
This was a great book, funny, sweet, and fun in a small town. Eva is it all, intelligent, powerful, snarky, and absolutely focused on love and marriage. Then enters Oliver, confirmed bachelor, gorgeous, and absolutely disbelieves love exists.Welcome to Pilgrim and be careful of all the sparks flying.

It wasn’t horrendous
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Steam: 🔥🔥POV: Dual 1st PersonM/FThat darn Facebook algorithm has figured me out. Targeted me with my weakness. It is how I found this book. I am glad that I kindle unlimited it instead of purchasing. It wasn’t a horrendous book, it was just pretty predictable.I knew within the first few chapters exactly how the book was going to play out. I don’t hate it I just don’t highly recommend it either. For a quick and easy feel good read it was ok. I didn’t stop reading it because I knew what was going to happen. It wasn’t like that time I went to the theatre to watch Cowboys and Aliens and walked out halfway through because I would rather go eat dinner than sit through that crap show. I could finish it and did.The book could use some better editing because some of typos detract from the book. There aren’t a TON of them. It also isn’t like it was just one or two either. I found myself wanting to highlight them in the hopes the author would find and fix them. The characters were well developed if a bit obvious. I love that the series is curvy girl focused even though I probably won’t be reading any more of it. The idea was a great one I just can’t get over how predictable I found it. I kept looking at the clock and trying to determine how quickly I could finish it so I could move on. I wanted to finish it because the author took the time to write it and I wanted her to get credit for the full read because I honestly don’t HATE the book. I just don’t love it.All in all I would call it a decent book that had the potential to be great it just wasn’t my cup of tea.Happy Reading my Friends!

Men vs Women
I'm so glad that this was not a cliche where Oliver was concerned. I loved the back and forth not only between Oliver and Eva, but also between him and the busy bodies in the town. I love the small town feel of this book. It took me a while but it was better than I expected. Also that cover! It happens to often that the female lead is described as curvy the the cover has a skinny female. So A+ for the plus model.

I liked it until the bitter end
It was an enjoyable read. Feisty leading lady, hot guy with just enough a-holishness to make him realistic and a nice story line. I was into it, until the bitter end. I was soo disappointed in how this ended. She went from strong and stubborn to overly loving and forgiving in a matter of pages. I wanted there to be a better ending, with a HEA for them of course, but in keeping with their characteristics. That just was not hers. All in all a good read just a disappointing and abrupt ending.

Loved it!
A new series and new town! Great start to this new spin off series. Pilgrim TX is going to be fun! Oliver and Eva are awesome together. I can’t wait to hear the other character’s stories unfold and I hope we keep catching a glimpse of the lives of our old favourites from Tulip. And maybe see the events unfold 6 months from the end of this book please????
