BioShock 2 (PS3)

Don't get me wrong, big fan of the original bioshock with its gripping Hitchcockian narrative and the world that is rapture. Bioshock2 for me felt disappointing. The story was a tad boring, the graphics were awful when compared to other games of the time e.g God of war III, I occasionally found myself staring at crates waiting for them to load up only to find that I was already looking at the primary graphics. Although butterflys are creepier when every cluster looks exactly the same.I didn't dislike it, it had a few good bits but if your hoping for an improvement on the original, this isn't it. Here's hoping Infinite might be.

If you've played the first game then you know what to expect - this is more of the same; same setting, same game mechanic but something's missing. This is just not quite as good as the original, it's still fun but the story is not as engaging as its prequel and it doesn't have quite the same emotional impact. A great game nonetheless.

The game play is smooth the game itself is amazing.. recommend for anyone who likes a dark horror type game

Great game

At first i thought it might be a bit slow and ponderous as i had been playing MW2, Halo etc but the world is so immersive i was soon hooked. It's very atmospheric and quite frightening in a Silent Hill kind of way.Gameplay is slick and the tension that builds between each boss encounter is great with quite a lot of preparation needed to inflict maximum damage on your enemies for the mob attacks.Best game i've played on Xbox 360.

Bioshock 2 is just as good and betters Bioshock. I have never understood those who claim it is pointless. It furthers the story and adds to the amazing world of Rapture. You can play without the encumbrance of the helmet during gameplay. Some great new characters and the music is just as beautiful as bioshock.So - forget the ignorant masses and get yourself a worthy sequel. Bioshock 2.

Yes it's good, but these games are also a bit odd. Enjoyed it, and would recommend it, but not in the top 20 PS3 games, so don't expect too much and you will enjoy it.
