Albums great …delivery rubbish!
Albums great but yet again the Amazon delivery was well below par, he didn’t even knock door or ring bell .He just put parcel down in front of door , took picture and walked away. Living on a high foot fall road I’m surprised package was still there.5* for album0* for delivery

A pleasing reissue
I admire the Cure's Robert Smith for achieving success on his own terms. Against his wishes though, the head of Fiction Records eventually sold his music to a major label (Polydor).'Wish' (1992) is a neglected CD in my collection. Hopefully, this 30th anniversary edition will change all that. Robert Smith has waited a long time to correct the mastering, which he was unable to oversee at the time.. However, 'Japanese Whispers' (1983) remains my favourite Cure album, as it demonstrates amazing creativity.Hearing this new version, the sound upgrade is agreeable, without the loudness one might have expected. Most of all, I was impressed with the song 'Apart'. The single 'Friday I'm in love' is probably the most well-known hit, but 'High' and 'A letter to Elise' are included. Robert Smith himself would have preferred 'Doing the unstuck' (remix) as the third single, instead of 'Elise'.For fans who enjoy the single B sides from this period, seven '92 tracks appeared on the 2004 box of flip sides, including the Smith-endorsed 'This twilight garden' (from the 'High' single).I am fascinated by the alternative music scene in the eighties, particularly in 1984. Releases such as the Cure's own 'The Top', 'Hyaena' (Siouxsie & the Banshees with Robert Smith), 'Dreamtime' (the Cult), 'Treasure' (the Cocteau Twins), 'Reckoning' (REM), 'Hatful of Hollow' (the Smiths), 'Ocean Rain' (Echo & the Bunnymen) and 'Rattlesnakes' (Lloyd Cole & the Commotions).

Great Music, Flimsy Sleeves
A favorite album of mine from back in the day, finally arrived only to have both inner sleeves split at the bottom and the vinyl poking out, hopefully replacements are ok, if so will be placing the discs into poly inner sleeves!

Great it is finally available again, shame about the quality
I am glad it is finally available again, but I would rate the sound quality as just below average when compared with the Disintegration and Mixed-Up vinyl re-releases. Shame.
