Excellent phone for people who don't like delicate phones
A really good solid phone that doesn't have much bloatware and can do everything most people would want.I've had it a few months now and have to say very happy with it. Also really nice to hold with large hands.Calls are loud and clear (even my deaf dad can use it without a hearing aid). Battery life is amazing, no need to charge it every day. I used Google navigation on a 3 hour trip with no charger and it only lost 20%.I think the main advantage is it's a device you don't need to fret about and worry that if you get it damp or it has a knock you'll have to shell out hundreds of pounds for a new one.Drawbacks are when it comes out of the box it has a screen protector fitted along with other stickers on the screen. I didn't know this and ended up removing the screen protector thinking it was just a sticker, then it wouldn't go back on without bubbles and bits of dust. Also for some reason the screws in the side are different colours (really not a problem, just a bit odd). It's also quite chunky but has no sharp edges.Update: In warranty support from CAT support is good. The phone died during a call, after a brief webchat it was collected and returned repaired in a couple of weeks.

A phone, rethought and made practical
Has been a great phone and absolutely adore it so far even though there have been teething problems.Has issues with SD cards causing the phone to crash on the device trying to access data from it. Although it took a while for this to be fixed it now has been. The other issue I have noticed and will be reporting to CAT phones is that it when the device is being charged the touch screen becomes overly sensitive and will often register double presses. The camera leaves something's to be desired. Clarity isn't the best and this should be really focused on in the next iteration. However with all that said it has been worth it. In a world where phones are getting slimmer and more fragile it is nice to have a phone which can really take a beating. Using the device as a heavy daily driver has been amazing partly due to battery, dual SIM, toughness, and the programmable button. The battery easily sees me through the day where often I get home after a heavy day of usage with still 60%.Dual SIM speaks for itself, having had to previous also carry a works phone this is just ideal for having all contacts in one place. With a few apps it can really streamline usability.Having dropped the phone from pocket height it's nice not to even worry about it at all. It's built to take a heck of a lot worse. The programmable button is a really good feature. Having torch on a long press and goodle assistant on a double tap is so handy it will be hard to go back to a phone without one. I doubt that will be necessary though for a long while. Now the specs aren't that of a flagship, but they give the phone enough to be a great daily driver with light multitasking being reasonable.Overall it's an unusual phone where the manufacturer has thought outside of the box and looked at what most people need. With the exception of the camera this is a great phone and would highly recommend this to most as a daily driver.

Not as rugged as advertised
It is not the prettiest phone or one with the most features, so your only likely to get this if you want a phone that is tough and will lastAfter just a year and without putting it through anything particularity strenuous (and for that matter never even having dropped it etc) am having issues with the screen and the charger which have started to add upWhen it was still within warranty tried to get help and they where deeply unhelpful to the point where I gave up.It is a good phone when it works but cannot be justified for the cost given its lack of robustness

Buy one - the best
I have had many phones and by far this is the best, far better than Apple, does everything the ad says, wonderful underwater pictures, really easy to use, the battery is plain phenominal. Not the skinnyest of phones but easy to live with.I am not a builder and would recomend it as you day to day phone.

Useful device but faulty
Right I'm a touch conflicted on this. Firstly it's really nicely built. Feels great in the hand. Easy to set up and is fairly quick and nippy to use......However...... The two bad points. Firstly the box is not sealed as supplied (sold by Amazon) and when the box was checked, the charger is missing. Secondly, the vibrate motor is faulty on my particular device, as it sounds like a misfiring moped when I receive a call and can be heard from the next room with the door closed.Overall first impressions were positive but didn't bear out this time.

Not what I'd hoped for
The battery life was good, I'd probably get two to three days of normal use out of it. However, it wasn't as good as the description led me to believe. The screen was a little over-sensitive.On the first day I had it I used it in the rain. That is why I got a tough phone. The rain must have got in to the loudspeaker and the sound became extremely distorted and far quieter - so I may well have missed the ringtone. I was all set to return the phone but it dried out overnight and was fine again. So I stuck with it.Three days after that I washed some grot (fluff in my pocket from a tissue that went through the washer) off the screen. It was - apparently - a tough waterproof phone so I didn't think five seconds under the cold tap would be an issue. But it was. Shortly after the colour and backlighting of the screen wasn't quite right. Soon after that the screen stated to flicker and then go off completely. The camera lens had misted up on the inside and not long after that the screen started to go off of substantial periods of time although the phone was still running.By the morning it was mostly working again save for the colour and backlighting of the screen and a little flickering, but it has been sent back now as it is unreliable.Maybe it was a one-off, but I don't want to risk it with a second as there are times when I rely on my phone.Amazon customer support were excellent, but it is still a right pain to have to change phones.
