I'm a bigger guy (54" chest) and I ordered the 3XL. Fits great for me, which means it's roomy, not snug (tape measure across front width of shirt just under arms is 29.5"). Length is perfect for me (hangs a lower than my waist; tape measure from back center top of neck to bottom is 31"). T-Shirt is soft and comfortable.Only negative is when a turned the shirt inside out the stitching in the under arms looks like it was not finished well (frayed strands hanging out of bottom of stitching. I'm tying these off and trimming the excess. Hopefully this won't fall apart after multiple washings.
