Initially I was searching for the reasons of how I could find God's provisions for my life as a single mum, without accepting the evident slavery to a job and not experiencing abundance as inevitable. I did not want to accept that as my only available choice and searched for God's Plan, specifically designed to my life. For being already months in this pursuit this book came and relaid the foundations of my faith. With the help of John Bevere's reasoning I could go back to the beginning of Who God is in my life and re-establish the divine order for Him. Now I feel encouraged to multiply the talents and gifts - but with the Fear of God, fearing to keep Him ALWAYS the First in my decisions. For me, John Bevere's style was easy to follow, nothing too wordy or complicated. No unanswered questions left. I shall return to this book regularly and refresh its message on stages of my journey, by reading the main points that I highlighted throughout the text. Highly recommended. Life-changing experience

This book is inspired by the Spirit, if you read this, you will never be the same
My mind was blown away throughout, and am not even finished yet. There were Spirit words, and the words were literally jumping out of the page. The Holy Spirit made me to see the errors of my ways, am really grateful so I turned back to Him. And I am inspired to share with my brothers and sisters so they won't also miss it. I implore eveyone, read this book. There are Spirit words, you will never be the same again.

Better a kiss or a slap?
If I could give this book 10 stars I would. It is one of the best books I have ever read and of critical importance to the Western church in particular, but enormously relevant to all churches/Christians anywhere. John Bevere is one of those who really "gets it" and I highly recommend him as a Christian author. You can be kissed to death by the enemy or you can be slapped to life by a friend...which would you choose?

A Book Every Christian Should Read
I am very happy to have read this book by John Bevere. I definitely agree that it is a timely book. Reading it made me yearn not just for a discerning heart, but to be deeply intimate with God, so I can see as He sees and judge as He judges; so I do not fall prey to that which appears good, but isn't God. Good or God - Inspiring You to Walk in Holiness
John Bevere has written many books over the years but this one,is such an important, timely and defining voice, equipping us to walk in holiness, its an inspiration for those who do not want to "blur the edges" and want to stay on track in their walk with the Lord, live in abundant life and carry His presence, His grace into the world around them.

A transforming read!
I read this book and immediately decided that it was a revelation worth bringing to my men's study group. We've all found the devotional and study questions immeasurably enlightening and our personal walks with Jesus transformed. Thanks once again John for being obedient in your ministry, may God continue to bless you and many others through your work!

A spiritually upright book. It does not sugar coat Christianity but it teaches God’s word and work and how to effectively apply it in our personal lives. This book doesn’t care about political correctness, but focuses on what is right with God. I will recommend it to everyone especially skeptics. I chose this rating because it’s the right thing.

"Es gibt nichts Gutes, außer Gott wirkt es" (Andrew Murray)
Lesen Sie bitte dieses Buch nur, wenn Sie ERNSTHAFT Jesus Christus als Herrn in Ihrem Leben haben wollen und vor einer tiefgehenden Selbstüberprüfung nicht zurückschrecken. Das Buch ist ein geistlicher Röntgenapparat und wird bei richtiger Anwendung viel Segen in Ihrem Leben freisetzen. Dieses Buch ist der Hammer. Ich sah bei Youtube die Predigten von John zu dem Thema (sehr zu empfehlen!) und war bereits in der ersten Session sehr gepackt und herausgefordert. Das persönliche Erlebnis, das John Bever Ende der Neuniziger Jahre in Schweden hatte und die kraftvolle Wirkung des offenbarenden Redens Gottes - ich hab die Furcht Gottes nur beim Hören und Lesen spürbar erlebt - Wow! Mehr will ich nicht verraten - schaut es euch an oder lest das Buch und ihr wisst was ich meine. Wie von John Bevere gewohnt, verknüpft er biblisch fundierte Wahrheiten mit einmaligen Beispielen und Anschauungen, die man nicht wieder vergessen wird. Folgende Themen werden unter anderem behandelt: Das Gute ist oftmals der Feind vom Besten - schon mal darüber nachgedacht, warum? Woher weiß ich, dass ich wirklich besser handle als Eva und Adam? Warum reicht "Gut-Sein" als Christ nicht aus? Lebe ich aus "kommuniziertem Wissen" oder aus echter Offenbarung? Was ist der Untschied zwischen dem vermeintlich Gutem und dem Willen Gottes? Warum reden und lehren wir Christen kaum über Verführung, wiewohl Jesus und die Apostel für unsere Generation genau das als Kernproblem prophezeit haben? In welchen Bereichen ist der Leib Christi bereits zum Teil verführt wurden? Glaube ich an die "echte" Gnade der Bibel oder an eine eigene Vorstellung? Good read
I read one chapter a day and every chapter is eye-opening. Made me think my actions which is a good thing. Topics are backed up by the scripture and every important point was discussed in detail. Recommended.
