Small holes to put water in at top. A little messy as water will also sit on top of the lid. When frozen and seperated silicone halves a thin sheet of ice joins spheres so you do have to get a knife and just tap off a Ice to make it a ball. Just takes a few seconds. I will use this but also I think I will by the single plastic mounds. A little more expensive but when just having the odd drink more practical

Makes nice ice but not easy to fill

Its ok, a little smaller than expected. 1 ice ball in a glass looks a little lonely.

Absolutely tiny complete waste of money

Really flexible material so it's so easy to pop out the ice cubes! But also a sturdy design so they don't spill everywhere when you try to get them into the freezer. And a great size too, so you don't need multiple cubes per drink. We're going to make cake pops in them because they look perfect for it with the small opening in the top of each sphere, so it's a win-win for multi-purpose use!Also, as a side note, they come well sealed and nicely presented which I always appreciate, so they'd work well for a small gift.

When these work then the ice balls are cool: problem is that they end up never being quite the smooth fully rounded globes from the photos so they can be just big blobs of ice
