The Intern ( The Dalton Family Book 4)
This book was absolutely fantastic to read. I enjoyed the chemistry between Hannah and Declan. Declan came back to the college where he studied law, he was the top lawyer in his field and his ex professor wanted him to listen to her students doing a closing argument in a practice class. He realized that Hannah was smart and she handled herself very well. Later after drinks she met with him to discuss her future. One thing lead to another and Declan had to have her sexually. She got a phone call and had to leave just as they were getting into each other. Anyways things went back to normal until Hannah walked in to Declan office to become his new intern. Hannah was a cousin of The Dalton group. Declan was totally taken back by this decision and it fought against it. Because the bottom line, Hannah turned his life upside down. This story is about Declan and Hannah. ENJOY. A very sexual story.

Great workplace romance!
OMG! This book is crazy hot. My kindle just melted from all the fire that is Hannah and Declan. These two start off with a huge spark that is thwarted by a misunderstanding. .When they next see each other, in the office surrounded by his best friends/her relatives it’s the most awkward reunion ever.Declan sets a new bar for alpha jerk as he takes all his frustration out on Hannah and works her so hard, while she never complains. She is such a strong woman and just never lets him get to her. Until he can take it no more, then she gives in too and the second act of shenanigans begins.I loved that Hannah gave as good as she got and was such a smart colleague. I wanted to strangle Declan a few times when he could not get over himself and belittled Hannah undeservedly, but it was fun to watch him struggle with his feelings nonetheless. These two are just an amazing power couple. Loved it when Declan finally get vulnerable with her. Great story!!

I want more of them
Declan is the most alpha jerk of all alpha jerk lawyers. And he's just met the woman who's going to bring him to his knees, and he doesn't even know it. Yes, they have a scorching encounter where he thinks she's just a law student whose brain impressed him. Yes, she's smart and sweet and feisty. Yes, she's a DALTON. No, he doesn't know this. And no, he doesn't realize she's THE ONE, even when she walks into his new office as the intern his new firm insisted he mentor. And then he exhibits all that jerkiness I was talking about, and she still rocks his world just by being herself. And I was cheering her on the whole time. Every snarky jab. Every steaming second where their enemies to lovers vibe got hotter and hotter until it inevitably exploded. Whew.Hannah has worked her rear off for this internship. She's never wanted to ride on the coattails of her family's legal success so she doesn't easily share her last name with people. She doesn't tell Declan Shaw her last name when he comes to her class to watch their mock trial. She doesn't even tell him after their encounter later that night. And it's not like she had time considering the jerk ghosted her. Then she walked into the office of her new mentor and Declan's gorgeous face was staring back at her. Now he's angry at her for not telling him. Well, she's mad he ghosted her. How are these two enemies going to work together in such close proximity without crossing that line?I love these two! She's a sweetheart with a brain and a backbone. The perfect partner for alpha Declan. I admit I wanted to yell at him more than once when his jerk tendencies got out of control but Hannah perfectly threw sass at him when necessary, and countered with her wit and brain and big heart at others. He never knew what hit him until he had a little talk with her cousins, who by the way, make the best cameos! but I could tell as soon as he laid eyes on her that he didn't stand a chance with this Dalton. I think she just may be my favorite Dalton now. I want more of them, more sizzling chemistry, more snark and sass, and more love, Dalton style. Can't wait for Hanna's twin, Camden's story now. It's gonna be a doozy!

Not sure the author understood what “roar” means
This was my 1st book by this author. I saw a recommendation on FB, and liked the summary, so I tried it out.It was pretty good. The story flowed and I appreciated not having male characters that inserted themselves into female cousins life and acted all upset when she dates their friend. It was a breath of fresh air to read alpha males listen and accept their friend and female cousin’s feelings and trust them to handle their own relationship. It was handled like adults, and it was also nice that all alpha males also gave advice. The female lead was, in my opinion, not as stellar as other readers thought. I thought she was a doormat. She barely put up a fight against Declan during the beginning and bis horrible treatment of her. Not saying she should be rude to a boss, but she fell into his arms even when he treated her like crap and she was under the assumption that he had ditched her and kissed another woman. Same if they argued, she always deferred to him, but I will say I was happy she stuck up for herself at the end when he tried to make it all about him during their argument. He was by no means innocent, and how was she supposed to know he did what he did to look for her or even if that was truthful? Like she said, he withheld information too. The fact that he numerous times brought up his feelings and how he was hurt, and didn’t consider hers or her side at all was a negative in my book. I wish she had stuck up more for her worth. As for Declan, he was mostly a jerk. He had his moments, with planning their dates and after they got together, but he did not need to verbally lash out to her so much due to his own issues. I also really didn’t like that he talked so disrespectfully about her to her own brother and cousins, and made her out to be an incompetent worker when she was anything but. He also never apologized to Hannah for it, only her brother, which was not cool.Lastly, the intimate scenes for very redundant. They seemed to be a repeat of the exact same scene, motions, COMMENTS, just a difference location. I started skimming them. I also thought the scene where Declan, ahem, pushed her physical boundaries was too soon. She wasn’t comfortable with it, he wasn’t officially committed to her, and she didn’t want it. It seemed forced, and again, all about Declan’s needs.I’d like to check out more works by this author, because her stories are good overall.Hopefully, some of these other things improve in her characters.

Hannah and Declan are wonderful together-a great addition to this series!
I love this series so much, and The Intern was a fantastic addition. I couldn’t get enough of this two! I love a good enemies to lovers story, throw in a workplace romance and some steamy moments in the office, I am all in!Hannah and Declan are both so wonderful, not only do they have an intense and instant connection and chemistry-these two will knock your socks off within the first couple chapters!I loved Hannah, she is so caring and smart and hardworking, but man did she put Declan to the test. She stood her ground with his at work, and knew exactly how to deal with his ‘attitude’. Her strength and kindness was exactly what Declan needed. She pushed him in the best way! Their banter was so great!Oh Declan….he was easy to fall in love with-he was NOT at all prepared for and feelings that Hannah brought out of him. He may not handled it in the best ways, making him a little broody, but it sure was fun watching him discover this new side of things, soften for Hannah and seeing him try (and fail) to resist it.They both kept things from each other, but is their connection enough to work through it and come out stronger in the end? I loving watching how their relationship developed and changed throughout then book. For as hard-headed, grouchy and loves to bark orders Declan is, he could be sweet and swoony for Hannah too! I was here for it (and him)!Be prepared for your kindle or book to heat up with these two!I also love that we got to see the other couples in this series and get to know Hannah’s twin Camden more as well. I can’t wait to read The Bachelor when it come out, but I will be sad that mean this series is coming to an end.4.5⭐️

this book…all these books
I don’t understand why there are 4 stories that are basically the same. hooking up after 10 minutes of meeting each other (which I don’t have a problem with honestly) but they are all the same, same storyline. hell, even the FMC all have dark hair and blue eyes. all of the MMC are men with commitment issues and the women all have to “convince” them that being in a relationship with them is what they want. Declan is my least favorite of them, his toxicity and the way he treats Hannah in their place of work is abuse to me. it was like reading the same book 3 times because I couldn’t even finish the third one from the series. I wanted to feel a connection between the main characters, but i felt that the only thing that kept them going was sex.

Amazing
I was waiting for this book since July or a bit more.I’m not disappointed but then not at all.Hannah is one of my favourite since I read her with Everly in the single dad.Marni Mann is an author I discovered this year. and I am glad to have found her books.Every piece of this story was amazing. The relationship between Hannah and Ford (best friend/cousin) is one of the best in this serie.Hannah reminds me a bit of me when she’s cooking.Hannah and Declan have such a chemistry that their relationship is mind blowing.I’m excited to read the next book with Camden. I want to read more about him and Oaklin (I’m not sur about the spelling).Like every books of her the writing is so great.Anyway Ford will stay my favourite.

🌶️🌶️Spicy 🌶️🌶️
OH MY GOD… what have I just finished today. I loved all the Dalton brothers stories, but for me “The Intern” is my favorite from all. What a SPICY,HOT, STEAMY story we have for Declan Shaw and Hannah Dalton in this book.I loved these two strong characters. They have a charisma that you will find so attractive. As always Marni made a great job with her characters and this series. I’m dying to read “The Bachelor”.Returning to my review:Declan Shaw was a hot and dominant man, being the best litigator made him like that. He would have all the women he wants, but only wants Hannah Dalton. Sadly she was her best friends and bosses cousin.Hannah Dalton is a strong woman. She always needed to fight to have a voice. Growing up with a lot of cousins and a brother made her more hard and strong. Until she met Declan Shaw. Sadly she wasn’t expecting him to be his intern.Readers if you are looking for a book before the year ends you can start with this one. You will love every single page.

Loved it!
I have wanted Declan’s book for so long. Throughout this story I love how Declan had zero clues what he was in for with Hannah and that just makes this book that much more delicious and fun!Hannah is my favourite in this book – her character screams out independence and she reflects the value of hard work. Her way with Declan had me melting inside and on the other side of it all, Declan had me sighing in sweetness and fanning myself when his alpha side came rumbling out. This is definitely without a doubt, one of the best reads this year!
