Equinox Kombucha Organic Original Fizzy Drink 275 ml (Pack of 20)

I'm lucky to have an enlightened GP, and they recommended I begin eating probiotic foods and drinking Kombucha. Since I began drinking half a bottle of Equinox each day I have seen a radical improvement in my digestion! I no longer get heartburn or acid reflux, and I no longer have any need to swallow PPI's every day. I'm incredibly grateful for this, as proton pump inhibitor medication has been linked to some very serious long term side effects. I no longer need to buy probiotic pills, as the Kombucha feeds me all the live friendly probiotic bacteria I need. So the combined savings on pills mostly pays for the cost of these bottles!This raspberry and elderflower tastes really good, and I like the fact that it isn't as sweet as some of there Equinox flavours. I see that some reviewers have complained of a vinegar-like taste. This is a natural feature of Kombucha, and only slight, and will increase as the bacteria count increases, so more = more healthy, and I'm in favour of that.The first box I ordered was smashed in transit but Amazon replaced it without fuss. Transit damage is in no way the fault of Equinox themselves and it would be grossly unfair of me to blame them for it in a product review. Neither would it be fair of me to complain about the use of plastic bubble wrap, which is added by Amazon not Equinox. This Kombucha can also be ordered direct from Equinox, or you can support your local health food store by purchasing it there.

The 5 star product rating is for Equinox Kombucha itself, but I would give a 1 star rating for the product received from Amazon.While Amazon usually gets it right, the product which arrived was warm, and tasted "off". By this, I mean very vinegary and acidic.I'd been drinking 1 bottle per day directly from Equinox before this, so I had something fresh to compare it to.Even the "original" flavour had more flavouring than the Raspberry and Elderflower version purchased off Amazon.It made me very ill, indicating that it hadn't been refrigerated, lowering the pH. A colleague of mine who has also tried Equinox directly from the producer agreed that it had a strange smell to it (but didn't try it).So I'd recommend the product, but absolutely not recommend buying it from here. Amazon are great for many things - but I won't be buying Kombucha from them again.

What a fantastic product! This drink is so refreshing in the warmer weather, not too sweet but and bubbly, chose the gingery one as my husbandhas digestive problems, he has found this drink to be very soothing, will be ordering again when we have used up what we have.I gave it 5 stars, as I used to make kombucha,so know how you have to get it to the right stage, and this is spot on.

This kombucha should be refrigerated in storage (as per label) otherwise it ferments and creates a slightly “off” flavour. It also becomes overly fizzy and creates more sediment in the base. All of which experienced in the batch I ordered. I recommend buying in supermarkets that store them in fridge, lesson learned!When stored correctly these are lovely.

I love this stuff. In fact it is addictive, in a good way. Great for a healthy guy.

I’m just drinking the last one and saw the date 15/10/2019. I order a whole box of them 02/10/2019 they arrived 05/10/2019. That is far too short dated.

This is the best tasting kombucha , highly recommended.

Excellent product and fantastic service. Packaging annoying, much bubble wrap and the shredded cardboard. I won't buy this again because of the packaging. It took me 20 minutes to unwrap it and get rid of the packaging.
