I strung 2 strands around candles down the center of the dinner table during the holidays. it was so beautiful that they have remained long after the holidays were over. plus, i liked being able to plug into an outlet instead of wasting countless batteries. this may stay on the table year 'round.

Absolutely perfect! Warm, bright, easy to wrap and work with. The remote control means you can place them in slightly more "awkward" situations where you can't easily access the plug (or place a timer). We have these strung up the stand and onto the chicken-wire lampshade of our dinner table, and it creates a fantastic, shabby chic, barnyard-n-burlap glow to our industrial-styled loft.
