Perfect cofee
There is one essential for perfect coffee: perfectly fresh coffee beans ground for each brew. Arabica beans in the freezer and a simple grinder make this possible. Perfect curry requires fresh cumin and coriander seeds, dry fried and ground. I have two Krups grinders, one for coffee and the other for curry spices.They are very sturdy, compact and reliable. The suppliers were prompt in their response to the purchase.

Cable split after a while - broke grinder trying to replace the cable
The electric cable in mine comes out of the side but does not have a soft, flexible rubber protector so the cable can be bent with a very tight radius. After a while, the outer cover of the cable split and separated where it bends leaving the body, revealing the two inner wires which were now being twisted tightly together. It was therefore too dangerous to use, although it still worked perfectly.I tried to remove the base so I could replace the cable but the base is held in position with four plastic lugs which spring into place to lock the base in position. All four plastic lugs broke off as I as tried to remove the base. As there is no safe way to put the base back, the working grinder is now definitely absolutely useless.So it seems that no flexible protector lead to a split cable cover which now means I need a new coffee grinder - only not a Krups one next time.

Excellent coffee grinder
Excellent coffee grinder, not too noisy. Yet when it comes to grinding small quantities of spices, it doesn't perform very well. For example when I grind a teaspoon of coriander seeds and a few peppercorns, the grinder only crushes them, it doesn't turn them into a powder even after a minute of grinding. I guess it is meant to grind larger quantities of spices.

Super fine!
Just used this item to grind up some spices. It did the job in no time, and the grind was very fine.Used a damp cloth to wipe the inside.I like it!

I bought a grinder that would do nuts and seeds too and this powerful little baby does the trick! Strong motor, efficient grinding of nuts to powder in seconds and good value for money

Great machine for grinding spice seeds or coffee beans.
Already own a less powerful version of this item for coffee beans only. This machine grinds spice seeds very well indeed. Excellent service too.
