Strong enough to survive hurricane Ian!
This is the second one of these runners we have bought and still love it as much as the first one. The first one that we had we strung from our upper deck, to a tree in the front of our yard in Florida. When hurricane Ian hit, it collapsed our deck and brought every tree in our yard down on top of this line (as well as destroying most of our house). When we cut our way out the next day, this was still tied tight to the part of the railing that collapsed, as well as still being tied to the trunk of the tree that was left in the front yard. It had about 4 trees laying completely across it, even support the top of one without breaking. We had to saw it in the middle in order to clear some of the debris, and only then did the line break. Now for the second one. It is just as high quality as the first. Please not that the orange is very High Vis Orange. There is no missing it, no subtlety. We don't mind though. The D clips on the end feel very high quality and are anodized black with a screw type enclosure that goes over the clasp to prevent it from opening. It also had 2 runner clips that glide easily over the rope. With a 60lb dog and a 26lb dog on it we have not noticed any fraying or damage from them running along it. We have also taken it down and used it on trips with us as its very portable. Want to visit family, take a trip to the park etc. Just find 2 sturdy places to wrap each end around and you have a dog run. Very convenient.Like I said this is our second one, and one that we will continue to buy in the future if mother nature were to strike again.10/10 would recommend.

great for camping/having access to full yard
i got this 100 foot line due the the one we had at home for my 50 pound dog was short and kept snapping (if it was tight from tree to tree she would go left or right and snap the hooks) so i saw this which would be easier for travel and camping then the plastic/tough lines. The rope is strong and flexible so if she moved further out there wasn't a lot of tightness to cause possible snapping. Its long but so worth it. Now she can go across our whole yard and have a longer distance when were at a cabin or camping. I used it for a whole week at a cabin and three days at a campsite and it seems to work great! FYI no line to attach your dog comes with it but i use the hard plastic one and it works fine with the two hooks it has. one can be for rope toys if you really want or two dogs!

Not bad for price
Sheathing on rope moves around too much when winding it up. Not as thick as I thought. Clips are cheap. Overall for the price not bad though. My dogs don’t like being on it, because they usually always roam free or prefer a short leash. So I ended up cutting the rope and using it for various other things. For two 65-75 lbs Belgium shepards, I think it would be sufficient enough if they actively used it even though the rope is thin.DC

Worked great
We took our dogs camping for the first time and one is prone to running off. We knew we needed something to keep her secured and this worked great. The line itself is sturdy and the clips were impressively heavy and strong. There was no way she was getting loose! The only problem we had was one of the carabiners got stuck. They have a twist piece and we could not get the thing to twist back down and had to untie the knot instead.

1st Time User
I used this in March 2024 while camping with the dogs. It was the first time we had taken them camping. I chose this tether over the ground ones because I was worried the dogs would get tangled up. This one did exactly as I had hoped. It was super easy to put up, and the directions were easily understood. I did have to re-adjust it once because it started to fall to the ground, but I'm pretty sure that was user error.I also realized that 100 ft is really long. I probably didn't need that much length for the campground we were at. It would be really good for back woods camping. I'm planning on buying the 50ft tethers for next time.

Didn't last long with a 10lb dog
My dog used it a few times. The line is already coming apart. Waste of money

Photos are telling
Other dogs at the camp site were getting tangled around trees and risking possible injury. In photos I paired with a short twist carabiner lead also found on amazon. Putting a regular lead on is tricky, but with a double ended carabiner lead it is amazing. Lots of comments from other dogs owners because it’s amazing. Great for setting a safe path for your pup wherever you go. Love it.

Perfect for our pups, and limited tangling
The provided rope is SO long so we were able to make several different runs so we could move the dogs depending where we were in the campsite. Our dogs are strong and this held up perfectly. It was such a great way to camp where we didn't have to always have them tethered to us.

Works as a camping Tie out
Pros it was super easy to attach to trees on our campsite and get the leashes secured in the caribeanears. It was super long, packed nice and compact, and is durable.Negatives my dogs kept getting tangled we have three. I did buy a third caribeanear for the third dog. This one was easier to attach the leads too because it was a caribeanear that locked on both sides with a swivel in between. I think I would probably get three of these for next time just for speed of booking and unhooking the dogs. I think the tandelong may have been our error as we had them all on one length of rope and the different sized clips meant the one could run over the other two. Maybe we should have had the rope go around and make three lines and hook each dog to one line but we were rushing as it was getting dark and our site only had 2 good trees. It also came as a tangled knotted mess I wish I had checked that before arriving at site and trying to sort while my three dogs wanted out of the car.I think it's better suited to one dog per line.
