Excellent !!My cat is a rescued stray and was very nervousIt was almost impossible to get him in a plastic cat carrier, so I bought this cage.It's brilliant, very strong, he's a big boy and he went it without a problem. I think because he can see out and doesn't feel too enclosed, he relaxed. Getting him out at the vets was a different story though.!!I'm very pleased with this cat cage Thank you.

I really love these cat baskets, they are strong and secure and a great size for cats, large enough to give them a little space, but small enough to keep them secure and not 'knocked about' on the move.My favourite thing about these carriers, compared to other wire ones, is that the 'holes' are large enough to get (even adult) fingers through, so you can stroke your cat with your fingertips whilst they are in there.Also, as the wire 'holes' are large enough to get fingers through, if you have a particularly heavy cat or need to keep them really level, you can use both hands to carry the basket by putting your fingers though the sides, rather than using the handle.I also find 'top loader' carriers the easiest, and also safest if a pet should be injured, as you do not need to 'squeeze' them in.I would highly recommend this product for all of the above reasons, and now have 2 as I think they're so great. Oh, and the method to close and secure the basket is great. Quick and easy to 'lock' the lid, and also quick and easy to open again.

Good and robust. Reasonably easy to open and re-lock.A 'top-loading' cage was required due to a certain cat refusing to be put into a 'front-loading' carrier (and sticking his legs out in protest!).It doesn't have an internal base, so you'll need to line it with, say, a piece of this card and a blanket, or the like.Also bear in mind that this gives your pet an open view all round (and is not enclosed like other carriers), so ensure they don't mind seeing everything and being seen!

We've been looking for a sturdy carrier basket like this for a long time. There's lots of flimsy offerings available, made with thinner wire but they are not strong enough to hold back a determined cat from forcing the lid up & getting out (as we discovered)! Also, most of them use a wider spacing of the wires, but this one is much better in design and construction. Well worth the money.

Ideal cat carrier, opens at top, much easier than trying to get your pet in forwards or backwards in a drop-front. Pets are less stressed with a top loading carrier - and it makes life easier for the vet. This is a very well made product, just lay some newspaper or a piece of blanket in the base.

Perrrfect for my 5kg Maincoon girl. Who has outgrown her old carrier and became diff8cylt to put in a box. She can see everywhere and not escape. It is easy to open and carry around being as she is a heavy baby. Will buy again when we get our boy.

After reading reviews on this product I bought one and was surprised at the space, my cat can comfortably lie down and turn around in it also he doesnt feel so closed in and doesnt get stressed like he did in one of the closed carriers we have had in the past. I was so pleased I bought another one for my other cat even though it is big enought to carry 2 cats.

Very pleased with this product. It is strong and well made. It is very easy to get my cats in and out safely which is why I bought it. Having wasted money previously on a plastic top loading carrier which arrived broken and useless, I was pleased to have chosen this. Quickly delivered with a minimum of packaging.
