Diamine 80ml Sherwood Green fountain pen ink bottle

Reading some of the reviews it appears that a number of these have arrived broken. Mine did not. It is the first time I have used green ink in a long time and this ink is really nice. It is dark, which I like and looks good on the page, it flows nicely out of the nib and dries fairly quickly which is a bonus. Overall very happy. Just need a couple more pens to use it all now.

Its an excellent dark green that gives a business like quality whilst adding that little bit of "special" to your handwriting.

A lovely rich green. Very saturated colour which I like, and flows excellently allowing for a nice wet writing experience. The shading is very good too, ranging from a darkish green, to an almost black in the really saturated places. Would certainly recommend everyone to try it at least once.

love this for my everyday ink. it creates a lovely contrast and has a lovely depth to the colour. an ink that isn't blue/black on white/cream paper gives a fantastic contrast that is very pleasing to read and just so easy on the eye. thank you for this. also was well packaged. ink is a 'fancy' product for those who love it, so treating it so lovingly certainly was appreciated.

Lovely colour and dry’s very quick

This green is such a particular, delightful hue. It's striking, in an elegant way. I can use it both for highlights and as a main writing colour to add a touch of subtle exclusivity.

Perfect for my use. I use two fountain pens; one for main writing and a second to indicate important text or actions. Previousy for the latter I used a red ink which leaked and stained the barrel of my celluloid vintage Parker - hence switching to green. Green doesn't appear to stain (so far) and comes in a larger glass bottle than I was expecting (but perfect size and shape which makes pen filling very simple)

I've always favoured green for writing, so I have quite a few green inks by most manufacturers in my collection. This one has surprised me by being even better than I expected, and very useable. It's always hard to describe hues without seeing them, and comparisons are subjective, but I'd say it's a mid dark with just the right amount of yellow, a little lighter than Herbin Lierre Sauvage (another of my mainstays) and with a little more shading and character. Diamine make such a great range of colours, and some absolute winners when it comes to quality. This is one of them.

This ink is exactly what I wanted! Sherwood green is a very dark green (almost black), this gives it the distinctive signature look I was looking for. It writes very smooth and doesn't blot through my pages with the pen I'm using. Absolutely will be buying more ink from this company!

I was looking for a unique shade of emerald green ink and this is a perfect match. There’s nothing quite like having an ink jar on your desk, especially when it’s contents are of such high quality. I’ve been writing in ink all my life, so trust me when I say if you’re a stationary nerd you need this in your life. The color is deep green and pigmented, yet incredibly flowy and not scratchy at all. I wrote most of the page with my fountain pen (using an ink converter btw) but added a line with my paint brushes (lower line is the kind of opacity you get with one stroke, upper line is the amount of opacity you get with 2 strokes). Would definitely buy again.
