I just received my mid-weight order. I was surprised by the weight. They felt heavier than I expected. Which in this case I consider a good thing. That said holding them up to the light the material appears thinner/more porous than expected based on the weightMy biggest complaint is the fit. These fit much more like pajamas than an base layer. These are not an athletic cut in the least. Something to keep in mind. Based on your usage this may be a negative or a positive. In my case it is a negative.I will update after I have put them to the test.

I bought these for my and he loves them. My grandfather unexpected passed this past February and my Dad had to fly to Calagary, Canada for the funeral. It was -4. Being for Caifornia, we're not used to those temperatures. I bought these to function as a base layer for him and he wore them everywhere. I bought 3 pairs (top and bottom) and for the price point and gsm these were well worth it!!! Not to mention because of Amazon prime these arrived timely for his trip verses buying from online stores that may take 5-7 days.

As a lifelong avid waterfowl hunter, I have hunted in many places around this country. As everyone that waterfowl hunts know, the colder and nastier the weather, the better the hunt. As a young man through middle age, I was tough and cotton longjohns were sufficient, however, now at eighty, my body simply is not as tough as it once was and I get COLD! Well, this year going on away-from-our-southern home hunts in COLD, NASTY weather, I splurged on this Marino Wool underlayment suit. FANTASTIC is the best way to rate this underlayment suit. It is lite, comfortable, and oh-so-warm! I don't know how many more years the Lord Above will grant me the ability to waterfowl hunt, but, that is how many years I will be wearing these or replacement Marino Wool Underlayments.

Bought this for my husband for hunting and he said they are warm and comfortable!

I wore them for first time two weeks ago camping in rain & high wind. Temperature lower 30s. They performed as I expected. Stayed warm.

I generally have pretty sensitive skin as I only wear triblend tshirts, however I really wanted to try merino as I enjoy hiking and cycling in colder temps. I have only tried one other Chinese brand merino wool tshirt in the past and it was very itchy. As soon as this came in the mail I could tell that the material was barely on the threshold of itch/comfort… so I washed it, air dried, soaked in white vinegar/water/conditioner solution overnight and will again air dry in the morning. I reallllly hope it makes the garmet useable bc as it stands, I cannot wear it.

I bought this set specifically for a 2 night winter camping trip. I put them on to sleep in the first night I arrived at my camping spot. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they fit just right. I never even tried them on at all before I left on my trip. I literally took them out of the packaging and and stuffed them in my backpack the day of. I am 5' 7" 180lbs and they fit just right. They were surprisingly soft and very comfortable, considering they are wool. In fact I kept them on underneath my regular clothes for the remainder of the trip. I was surprised how thin the material was, just as thin as a cotton tshirt would be or maybe just a tad thinner. They provided the warmth and comfort I expected. I will want to try out at least the top for a winter hike, as I sweat quite a bit even on winter hikes, to test the moister wicking aspect. There was absolutely no bad smell to them as other reviews I read state, even after 2 days. I washed them after my trip in accordance with the recommended washing tips for wool clothing, and they look and feel just as day one.All in all I was very pleased with the product even though the price was slightly higher than what I think something like this should cost. I look forward to using them again!

I'm 6' tall and it firts great. The legs come a little short which great when I wear pants on top. These things just won't stink no matter how little you wash them - pretty cool. They make the best damn pajamas ever.

Super geiles Ding. Sehr bequem, angenehm, Passform ist perfekt.Nach eine Woche Motorradreise fühlt sich noch als frisch gewaschen. Ich kann es nicht genug loben. Fürs Motorradreisen ein Muss.
