Gave the orbs to two children who are into robotics and electronics. The first one they played with it as a child probably would by gently throwing it back and forth and laughing at the intense wind flow of the product, questioning how it works, angling it and letting go to see it fly in certain directions, etc. Trying to figure out how to turn it off was impossible since it turns on by pressing a button by the charging port which actually SPINS inside the cage and is inaccessible once it is turned on. Pressing down on the entire area cut my thumb up pretty bad as we found out the charging port is thin metal for the USB mini connection and spinning thin metal really can hurt. We found that pressing down on the cage at the bottom just off the edges of the Axis would allow the cage to push into the on/off button and turn the device off. When we did, we found the LED ribbon cable was freely spinning inside and no longer connected to anything - it seems to be a really poorly built and designed product. Perhaps only intended for one time use. OR maybe the 2nd orb we got will be different right?We examined how the LED strip was attached on our 2nd orb and agreed it looked fully connected at the charging end and had some hot glue on the other end attaching it to the bottom of the sphere's internal spinning area. We could not determine how to take the cage apart on the 1st orb - there are no screws - it must be glued together. No way to try and repair the 1st orb if we cannot get to the ribbon attachment area on the charging end of the orb.We charged the 2nd orb and then turned on but didn't even throw it around - we just let it spin. Within about 30-60 seconds we heart a faint sort of clicking sound and could see the led lights were no longer attached at the bottom of the unit and shortly after the lights stopped illuminating but the blades were still spinning fine. In other words, the LED light strip tore off again without even throwing the product around.Don't waste your time with this Chinese one-time use product.

I wanted it to perform like in the commercials. I dunno how many takes they did to make it but they must have had a pretty big budget. The ones I got the kiddos spends more time on the floor bouncing around with the dog chasing and barking at it than anything. It is possible we don't know what we are doing as well. It was still a fun, cheap xmas present we all had fun with.. including the dog.

It was fun to play with for about 5 minutes after received for Christmas! Light stopped working when light strip detached (was flapping outside of the ball) and wouldn’t light or fly straight. Seller refused to replace or refund…. Poor customer service! Very discouraging! We paid $29 for this junk and obvious it’s JUNK cause now it’s only $10! Need to remove this seller from Amazon

Hard to handle and instructions are not very clear? After much to do was able to launch/use but not really for outdoor use? Indoor watch out you don’t break anything?

This drone ball was great for about 3 days. It took a couple tries to get the hang of throwing it. The kids played with it off and on, and then the propellers started coming apart. Next, the lights turned off. Lastly, I tossed it to my kid and it dropped and the wires came loose and the motor started burning up. It was cool for those 3 days, but won’t be purchasing another!

Product came in an plastic wrap instead of a box, which for this ball is a bad idea really could have used the protection of a box. Instructions were very clear at all on how it worked or which way to have the ball for it to work right. Last, the LED light strip broke off the second time we played with it, possibly from the bad packaging for shipping choice. All in all, fun for the 5-7 minutes the battery last but not hopeful for any longevity of the product itself.

This item is cute and that’s all. You can hold it in air for a minute and that’s all it does. If you try to throw it, ends up on floor. Worthless. I give good reviews more than bad. But be aware. And it’s hard to put the charger inside being it’s under the casing. Returning ASAP

This is not worth it. Poorly made, short lasting. WAY over priced.
