MaggiSeasoning Sauce

I bought this because I had heard good things about it in the foodie community and it was on sale. I'm a sucker for trying new sauces and seasonings. It tastes slightly less salty than soy sauce and adds a depth of roasty, umami flavor. I'm trying to kick my Bachan's Japanese BBQ sauce habit (mostly sugar!) since I'm trying to lose weight. I made grilled teriyaki chicken today with riced cauliflower and used half the amount of Bachan's I usually do and subbed a few teaspoons of Maggi seasoning. Cut out a ton of calories without sacrificing flavor. I love this stuff! Worth noting that this does have a significant amount of sodium in it. Since I don't have high blood pressure, I don't typically pay attention to how much sodium I consume (too many other things to worry about in life), but I know that it may be a concern to some people.

Amazon has the best price I've ever found for Maggi Domestic Seasoning so I only buy it from Amazon; otherwise: Best cooking seasoning you will ever use!!! Once you use this you will never stop. It's one of the three or four seasonings I HAVE to have in my kitchen to cook!! My Mother always used it and to my memory going back to the 1950's and it hasn't changed at all. You won't be disappointed in Maggi! A few drops directly on all meats and fish, in all sauces, all gravies, all vegetables, any grain/noodle dishes and it enhances the flavor 10 fold. If you ever taste a drop on your tongue you'll think "Oh heck no!" But put it on the food you're cooking and it is just magic how it enhances the flavor of all foods!!!Again: You won't be disappointed, use it once and you're stuck! You will love this stuff! Turns any bland dish into a flavorful one with just a few drops!

Great seasoning for just about anything. A must have.

The bottle receive was slightly different that pictured. I didn't know there were so many varieties.I love using Maggi in cooking and seasoning. Great with pork, hamburgers, even steaks and chicken.lots of uses for this product.

Despite being advertised as Maggi Seasoning Sauce, as mentioned in the fine print under "what's in the box", you will be receiving Maggi Jugo Seasoning, not the pictured Maggi Seasoning.

It’s so good super big and for the price yes

Amazon seems to think that all Maggi seasoning is the same, it isn't. Maggi Domestic Seasoning, which this product page is for, is a wheat based product with zero calories per bottle, zero carbs and 440mg of sodium(in this 3.38 fl oz. size). Maggi Jugo is soy based, with no wheat, 5 Calories per serving(aka 100 calories per bottle), 20 Carbs per bottle and a ludacris *11,000mg!* of Sodium per bottle. This is not the kind of thing you just substitute, as it's an entirely different product - it just happens to share a similar name. Maggi Jugo is literally overpriced soy sauce. I have given it 3 stars, because it's not the fault of the product that Amazon employees are substituting the wrong one.
