MoKoCase Fits All-New Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8 & 8 Plus Tablet (12th Generation/10th Generation, 2024/2022/2020 Release) 8",Slim Folding Stand Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep, Blue Starry Sky

I have a Fire HD 8 Plus 2020 10th gen. The listing for this cover even gave me a green framed pop-up msg that said this cover is "Compatible with your Fire HD 8 Plus 2020". It fits snugly and opens to the left. It stands securely for viewing in landscape and stands reasonably steady for typing in landscape, although there's no way to secure it in that position. Unfortunately, to fit in this case, the front facing camera ends up on the bottom when the case is open properly in landscape. To use it for a Zoom call you'll have to lean it against something or hold it. But all the buttons and ports on the left work fine with the spaces on the case. When the case is open and propped up in landscape like you would to stream a movie, the speakers are at the bottom. The edges of the case keep it raised up off the speakers, so the sound isn't very obstructed. When you turn it over though, with the speakers on top, the sounds def improves.Overall, it mostly works for the Fire HD 8 Plus 2020 10th gen without too many minor issues. The lavender is beautiful and the case feels like it's decent quality. Don't expect it to fit exactly. Everywhere I looked though, for this style cover, they had the same exact issues with the fit. Maybe it does fit the 12th gen 2022 version exactly and they were like, Close enough! for the older one lol

I was drawn to the rotation feature. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and some residual issues; I needed a tablet to literally-literally take the weight off my hands. This case does that, and it does another thing I was looking for; allows me to hear sound from the speakers on the top. The elastic strap appears to be sturdy enough. Thanks to the responses to a question I posed, I can confirm that it is very easy to remove the tablet from the case when necessary. So far, this purchase appears to be a good one!

Really like this case for the money, so glad I ordered it. Do not know how well it'll stand up, but very satisfied.

Very fast delivery and easy to setup. Bought it as a last minute gift for an elderly friend so he can enjoy use of Facebook, getting news, reading and games.

Product was well packaged. Fits perfectly. Very sturdy and will protect the tablet perfectly. Well-made and will last for years.

So far, so good. I loved my old Amazon fire but it suddenly stopped working, couldn't charge/play it. Hopefully this one will last longer.

I didn't want to spend a lot on a cover as I tend to change Kindles quite often. At under twelve quid, this is a good bu for the money. It's robust, is well made and there's a good bit of Velcro that you tuck under the Kindle once you've inserted it, which anchors it in solidly. There's an elasticated strap on the inside, so that if you've got it open, you can insert your hand to hold it more securely - perfect for those of us who read in the bath!I got mine in black, and it's pretty basic but does what it says. I think it'd look better with black stitching but that's nothing that affects performance. It stays upright due to the small flap at the rear of the cover that allows the stand flap to tuck in securely, and it has the Sleep function that turns the Kindle off automatically when the cover is closed, saving on charging. There's a piece of stronger-than-dressmaker's elastic that holds the cover flat in place once closed, to ensure that the Kindle stays off.Overall, this is a budget item that is good value for money. I would have liked this in red or blue, but those colours would have taken this more into the price range of official Amazon Kindle items, and especially with the current trade-in 20% off discounts, wouldn't have made this brand that attractive.

I like this case, I like the leatherette feel, gives it a premium touch and it does seem well made...Unfortunately the Fire tablet when housed in the case is upside down, the camera is at the bottom when standing and is slightly covered by the case frame, I don't normally use the camera, but when I do this will be a bit of a pain. The stitching on my case is slightly crooked in places, when it's white thread on black this stands out, and I say to myself when I notice it sometimes ''Why is my case wonky like that!'' Quality control please take note! Image attached.I've just noticed that the indigo blue version of this case when standing is the correct way up with the camera at the top, looks like the black version has a defect, maybe that is why it is slightly cheaper?

This case really isn't suitable for the Kindle HD 8 Plus. It fits in a sense, in that it has holes in the right places for the camera & the buttons etc., but you have to turn it upside down for the alternative angle, and then the cameras are at the bottom and the controls on the opposite side. If yo9u put the camera at hte tops, then the loose flap covers it, so it's really not suitable and a waste of money. It's difficult to find a good case for this model of Kindle, but I've found it's worth paying more to get a good one.

I ordered this Kindle case because I loved the colour - it matches my glasses case!But, I was really disappointed.It was quite flimsy and I honestly didn't think it would stand the test of time.It was flimsy, felt cheap and was a little awkward to hold.It's a shame as it was such a lovely colour and looked good too.Returned for a refund.
