One of the best in the series
Quite frankly I had given up on the series, the last two were repetitive to me and did not IMO advance the story of the Gray Man. That all changed with Sierra Six, the origin story. This book was exceptionally well written, much like the earlier novels, and was action-packed. The backstory of how Court came to be the Gray Man was exceptional. Character development was spot on, and kept me engaged with the dual endings hitting all the right notes. I'm trying very hard to review this book without revealing plot lines for fear of being a spoiler. Suffice it to say, I highly recommend Sierra Six.PS. This is one of my Kindle treadmill books - an hour spent reading to make the time pass quickly. I have to admit the time flew by and I seriously considered adding another hour to my routine to keep reading.

Very good read
I enjoyed this book and pretty much had to read the whole book to figure it out....Thx I'm onto book 12.

fast paced
Really good stories. I took off a star purely for personal preference. I did not like the constant back and forth time jumps - kept taking me out of the action. Otherwise, each story was compelling and kept my interest.

Good action book.
Set in two timeframes but gives good history to the Gray Man and his time as six with the Goon Squad.

Brilliant
Two Gray Man stories at once??? Brilliant. Twice the action! I have read a ton of books, but never one that has two thrillers that happen at different points in times but you read them at the same time!!

Great book in a series of truly great books
The author is by far the best writer in this genre. These books are so much fun to read and they are gripping as well. Please, I’m begging you, keep them coming!

Interesting, Fast Paced Spy Thriller with Two Stories
Mark Greaney gives readers another in his "grey man" series, this time providing more information about the main character's history. This book provides two fast moving stories, separated by 12 years in time, and the narrative alternates between them. The earlier events give some useful context to the current situation. It took me a while to get used to these dual plots, and sometimes wanted the focus to be primarily on the present day story. However, each plotline offers plenty of action and intrigue, and kept me turning the pages. As with all of these books, the reader has to suspend belief, and accept the main character as having near superhuman skills, as he tries to outwit the villain. Overall, I recommend this book to fans of this genre, since Greaney writes better then most of his competitors.

Sierra Six should get 6 Stars !
Outstanding ! Mark Greaney has done it again with this Court Gentry / Sierra Six backstory. Great character development. Fantastic buildup and action that all lead to an exciting climax. Mark Greaney proves once again that he is a master of the genre. An absolute page turner and I’ve read every one of Greaney’s books. Keep ‘em coming ! Fantastic !!

A very good tale.
The Gray Man is able to save us once again, this time with a touch of back story for all of us

A classic tale of emotionally driven action sequences
Court Gentry was effortlessly moved from past to present and back to past. Portrayal of the love story of young Court and Marquez, the tragedy and after that (or before?) the revenge... something we never knew of Court Gentry. Icing on the cake - the great Mumbai chase by Priyanka and Court. This is love story and not a typical action adventure.A must read.
