Flintronic Caulk Tape, 4.5m/14.8ft Self Adhesive, Waterproof, Oilproof & Mildewproof for Kitchen, Bathroom & Toilet

I needed a seal between the tiles and the granite work top, and this was perfect. Did the whole kitchen. Looks great and easy to clean. My only gripe with this black roll (unlike the white I used in the bathroom) was that because it comes tightly rolled, the glue clotted at the back every 10” or so and had to be trimmed down to avoid a lumpy look. I used a craft knife just to trim the excess glue and it was fine. Shouldn’t have had to do it though!

I used this to create a 'mastic looking' seal between some aluminium bifolds and the adjoining plasterboard. Barely anything sticks to the bifolds because of the Teflon like finish but this tape was easy to apply and has stuck perfectly. My only wish was that it came in 5mm widths from the centre as 10mm comes out a little further than I'd like. Will definitely consider using again where mastic proves difficult to apply.

Does the job, seals, and looks clean

This item has very little sticky on it and the double sided tape keeps coming off and does not stick to the surfaces you want it to stick too . There are better ones on the market for less money

This is smooth tape, cuts easily and the adhesion is reasonable (though you can take it off and have another go if you need to, it seems to me). However, I haven't found a use for it. I bought it to use around a sink worktop, where water damage had resulted in a gap too wide for silicone sealant alone. Well this tape was so thin, that you could easily see through it the darkness of the gap!! It would have looked terrible. Coupled with that, the thinness of it means every uneven part of the worktop just disrupts the smoothness of the tape, and the tape accentuates the bumps. And i don't feel I would have had success applying it around a corner, so would have needed to cut it and try and join the two pieces, which would have needed silicone sealant, probably, to hide the join, and that would have looked a mess. I abandoned the idea after applying a small test piece, which came off easily and without leaving residue, and ordered some more rigid rolled silicone strip, the molded kind rather than tape, and that worked really well.

This was perfect! I’ve just had a french door unit installed and around the join where it meets the wall wasn’t a clean line due to painting and removing of tape. This was EXACTLY what I needed. Created a clean line all the way round, really easy to trim to size and its really strong / decent stick. Would 100% recommend.

Great quality and strong hold

I needed this to fix the top of the shower where a bathroom fitter simply put a piece of white trim, it looked awful so decided to try this. Absolutely amazing job, covered everything and was very sticky. Would definitely recommend.

Wir haben die flintronic-Sockelleiste für den Randbereich unserer Küche gekauft und sind wirklich sehr zufrieden damit. Sie war genau das, was wir gesucht haben – sowohl funktional als auch optisch. Schon beim Auspacken merkt man, dass die Materialqualität stimmt. Die Leiste ist weich und flexibel, was die Verarbeitung enorm erleichtert – vor allem an Ecken oder unebenen Stellen. Im Gegensatz zu starren Leisten lässt sie sich problemlos biegen, ohne ihre Form zu verlieren oder gar zu reißen. Diese Flexibilität hat die Montage bei uns deutlich einfacher und stressfreier gemacht, sogar in engen Bereichen. Die Klebeschicht auf der Rückseite ist stark und haftet sehr gut auf sauberen Oberflächen. Wir haben die Leiste entlang der Küchenschränke angebracht, und sie sitzt perfekt. Nichts löst sich, nichts wellt sich – alles bleibt an Ort und Stelle. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt für uns war die Farbe. Sie passt exakt zu unseren Küchenfronten und fügt sich so nahtlos ein, dass man kaum erkennt, dass es eine nachträgliche Ergänzung ist. Dieser homogene Look wertet die ganze Küche optisch auf und gibt dem Raum ein viel fertigeres, hochwertiges Erscheinungsbild. Auch praktisch: Die Leiste lässt sich ganz leicht mit einer Schere oder einem Cutter zuschneiden. Man braucht keinerlei Spezialwerkzeug – das spart Zeit und macht die Arbeit deutlich angenehmer. Fazit: Eine kleine Anschaffung mit großer Wirkung! Preislich absolut fair, sieht toll aus, funktioniert einwandfrei und lässt sich ohne Profi-Kenntnisse schnell anbringen. Wir würden sie jederzeit wieder kaufen – vielleicht sogar für das Bad oder den Flur als nächstes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – klare Kaufempfehlung!
