Saga Volume 3 (SAGA TP)

I picked up this series because Patrick Rothfuss wrote it a glowing review on goodreads and I grow bored waiting for the next Fables volume to be published.Oh boy I was not disappointed! I devoured all three volumes in 2 days - given that I have a nine month old baby I consider this a very fast read. I was very involved with the plot and the drawing style is just beautiful. I love, love, love this series. Cannot wait for the next volume!I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys a well thought out and developed plot in a fascinating world of conflict and beauty. Particularly if you enjoy being able to relate to all characters on all sides of said conflict. Absolutely stunning, yet another thing I owe to Mr. Rothfuss.

If you've read graphic novels before, read Saga. If you've never read a graphic novel, read Saga. Serioulsy such an amazing book, it's got tons of humour, brilliantly pulls at your heartstrings and even though it's filled with aliens, you can relate to a lot of the content. My girlfriend had never read comic books or a graphic novel before, so I gave her the first three books of Saga to read. Safe to say she is now hooked due to this book and every time I see her she asks if i've got any new ones to read!

As a third volume this acts as a punctuation to the overall story. It brings most of the subplots to an intertwined conclusion but also leaves room to introduce more characters to continue this series. It has a well crafted intensity that brings the characters to life. This is justified by the fact that one set of the character's are robots with CRT screens for heads and would usually be seen as a comical joke, however the writing gives even these unfamiliar creatures substance.

But i have a feeling he's going to do something terrible to the main characters at some point. And with how this series rolls, I have no doubt it could happen.

This is the best graphic novel series I've come across for some time. Got hooked on vol 1 and haven't looked back. Artwork clear, beautiful, storyline interesting and enigmatic. Adults only: despite being about a young family and the people they come across/influence, this is very much a story about war and how it impacts on people. The word 'graphic' applies. This episode contains a lighthouse, a cyclops, a ghost, fave character Lying Cat and a storyline about a hit man that reads like an early Star Trek episode. Enjoy.

It's almost painful how great Saga is, but how slowly (but surely) it builds up into an essential comic collection over time. That's really the only drawback with this fantastic series. Saga Volume 3 builds on the previous story by introducing even more weird and whacky characters. In places it really reminds me of Lexx and other "out there" sci fi which is definitely no bad thing. Funny, sexy, menacing and just utterly brilliant. Becoming a Saga addict will drive you nuts though, it's just that long long wait till the next volume (roll on Volume 4!)

This is without doubt the funniest and most entertaining comic I have read for a long, long time. The characters are so well developed, the art work is captivating and the universe is brilliantly thought out. I cant stop gushing about Saga!! READ THIS COMIC (if you're looking at volume 3 I'm guessing you're already hooked though!)

Love the art, story and characters…. the only thing I don’t like is knowing there is a finite number of these comics. Enjoying the story so much… stop reading this and go read the comic.

¿Qué puedo escribir? Saga se ha consolidado dentro de mis series favoritas con sólo 3 volúmenes. Los conflictos físicos y emocionales llegan a tope y la intensidad es bien recibida como lector, no quedando más que agradecer a los autores por su excelente y continuo trabajo en el título. Las consecuencias son palpables y uno sólo reza por que sea solucionado de forma positiva para los protagonistas, tristemente Saga no es una historia así, pero "arriba la esperanza, abuelita".

Bellissimo fumetto della Image Comics, imperdibile per chi ama la fantascienza e delle storie più "adulte" con una trama avvincente e dei disegni spettacolari! dopo poco che ho iniziato a seguirlo in inglese è stato pubblicato in italia dalla Bao Publishig, ma non rimpiango nulla: la lingua non è difficile e i disegni aiutano tanto.il libro è arrivato puntuale e in perfette condizioni.

Era para un regalo, el destinatario encantado por que pensaba que no los iba a conseguir en España, y menos a este precio.

Brian K. Vaughan e Fiona conseguem manter o nível de qualidade em roteiro, arte e criatividade. A história avança e se desenvolve. Saga está a caminho de se consolidar uma obra de destaque na literatura de graphic novels.
