This ceremonial matcha green tea powder from Kineta gets full marks from me and since trying my first cup of matcha in November 2016 I was keen to know more. As the new year kicked in, I decided rather than eliminating something and making resolutions, I would make a list of intentions, and focusing on positive health and lifestyle changes was top of my list.Peering into the tin, you get greeted with this green goodness, which has a slight earthy aroma, a little like fresh grass. The smell alone made me feel healthy!This bright green coloured powder just enforces the quality of this tea, and I can honestly say others I have seen have looked more like a muddy puddle than a rich and vibrant green colour.So simple to make, you literally add a 1/2 teaspoon of this powder to hot water, a quick whisk and voila! When the tea is whisked the top of your cup (or ceramic bowl if you want to be super authentic) becomes full of bubbles and froth which is the desired outcome with a good quality matcha powder. This is then a good indication the tea is all mixed up and ready to drink.Compared with many other healthy powders and drinks I have previously tried this is really palatable. At first a little different to the taste buds and slightly bitter, but after cup number three, I can say I really loved every sip. Its smooth, creamy and a delicate taste but with a dash of richness almost indulgent.The health benefits of this high grade matcha powder would be enough alone to make you want to drink it, even if the taste wasn’t to your liking. It is a natural source of powerful antioxidants, over 100 times more than your regular cup from a green tea bag. Naturally loaded full of vitamins and minerals it will aid immune support and well-being on so many levels. I found more than anything this has helped my concentration and mental clarity, especially towards the end of the day. It gives you the energy boost you need without the jittery high and buzzing brain which is usually followed by a crash when drinking that afternoon cappuccino or other chemically created caffeinated drinks. This is a naturally energising caffeine hit, which has not been mixed with any synthetic ingredients. Its pure organic green tea leaves, which have been traditionally stone ground to create a smooth and light texture which is perfect to drink.Although you may think the tin looks small, it only requires a tiny amount of powder to make a great cup, so it lasts for more than a month and even longer if you are not drinking this everyday.This is by far my favourite brand of authentic Japanese matcha green tea powder that I have tried, and I have now tried a fair few. I have also tried the ‘Finest Organic' version from Kineta, and this is even better, but if you are looking for a more affordable alternative by the same brand, this ‘Everyday Organic Matcha Tea’ really is a great place to start. It is such a simple but hugely effective way of enhancing ‘you’.It may be more expensive than a store brand green tea bag, but there really is no comparison in terms of its health and well-being benefits. I personally say this organic green goodness from Kineta is worth every penny. We only have one body, so why not give it everything it deserves to enable it to function at its optimum, you won’t be disappointed.

Little bit pricey admittedly but will say it is a really good matcha so it is worth it, I've been trying various different matcha brands and so far this is the only one that when I make doesn't turn out bitter. I've tried various ones several times but this one is so far at the top and I will be buying again. Has a lovely flavour and froths up nicely when whisked. I do drink this as tea not a latte. Customer service was good, they sent me an invoice separately which I appreciated.

This tea was quite pleasant to drink and the matcha powder did stir in quite well. However I did personally find the taste to be a little bitter compared to other brands. It’s fairly well priced though as these teas can sometimes be very expensive. Good tea but I’ll probably use another brand in the future.

This is a fantastic quality matcha, with a vibrant green colour and delicate flavour. However, the tin is almost half empty and there was non lost in transit as the tin arrived sealed. Yet, when I have purchased this previously directly from the KInetea company, it was filled to the top. My suggestion is you buy directly from the company or a seller with high reviews and a good reputation.

It is very high quality matcha, vibrant green powder.Nice taste (it is not bitter at all, gently touch of green tea), kind of gently stimulation effect and much cheaper than i used to buy i local health shops.Do not know about antioxidants because it is immposible to check at home, but i hope it is on high level like other parameters.I know Kineta brand from about 2 years and i am very happy to drink this matcha every morning instead of coffee.Thank you.

Really good matcha. I used to buy Moya matcha previously but it has gone up in price by quite a lot so I thought I would try this brand. I’m really impressed, the flavour is really nice and you can tell from the colour of the powder that it is proper matcha. Also they sent me a free energy bar with my order, which was really nice of them, it tasted amazing :)

Thought I'd give this a go after a friend recommended it. A slightly bitter taste if you have it as a tea, but you soon get used to it and it's a really refreshing morning drink that makes you feel nicely alert. Also, absolutely love it in a fruit smoothie, it just adds a certain zing to them. Half a tea spoon is all you need either way. It comes well packaged in an air tight tin making it easy to keep fresh in fridge.Well recommended.
