The Ashes 2015 [DVD]

This is basically an edited down version of the Channel 5 highlights show. The coverage that's on the disc is fine, commentary good etc, but even with some of the Tests being short games (Australia being 60 all out before lunch on the first day doesn't lead to a long match), squeezing the entire series onto 2 discs leads to very compressed coverage. Basically, if you own the 2013 Ashes discs, expect the same level of coverage this time.Previous series have been covered in 3 discs (e.g. the 2009 Ashes) or even 5 discs (the 2010/11 series), be good to get back to those types of packages for the series cricket lover.

Enjoyed every minute but not enough of them - too short for a five test series.Can we have three or more discs next time please.

I guess I'm always going to 'five star' any Ashes video unless it's flawed and this one isn't. Channel 5 always gave a great synopsis of the day's play and these discs do that for this series - a most enjoyable watch (especially as we won again!). Mark Nicholas is always good and the old crusty maestro Mr Boycott gives his usual incisive comments.

In my opinion this is much too short, missing out much of the good play in the series basically slightly extended highlights. How can you really fit a test match series onto two discs?

Fabulous dvd bought as a birthday present and one happy birthday boy. Great value for money and arrived well on time.Would recommend to other buyers.

....an elderly, cricket mad, friend. He would watch cricket 24/7 if he could and will be "bowled over" by this and another cricket related DVD ordered from Amazon.
