I recently purchased a dash cam with rear facing camera for our son's new wheelchair accessible van. The issue I had is that small rear camera could adjust for vertical movement but the rear windows have a curve that meant my preferred position aimed the view off to one side, rather than directly behind. This S40 mount looked like a decent small mount with a potential mounting solution and worked out perfectly with a small modification. By fitting the ball mount socket, I then cut a couple of the small legs from one side of the 45mm x 29mm rectangle mounting plate. This allowed me to stick the camera directly to the plate and still be positioned close to the glass while being able to adjust the horizontal 'aim'. It also gives me the ability to remove it completely with issue, if I ammopening get door in heavy rain or there is a service issue. For less than £10 I am more than happy with the build quality and flexibility of this mount.

Found a fitting that fitted my camera after leaving the holder in a car I traded in. Works fine and saved me buying a new dash cam.

A great mount for just about any dash cam. This one was to replace the original mount on My dash cam. Works actually better than the original when it was new!

This Cuz was so many different attachments so whatever your front dash camera or whatever it is it will definitely have the attachment that will slide right in or attach to your device. Mine was a front – windshield camera and basically came in. I found the right attachment put it on there put my dash cam onto the post of the sucker section thing and it sucked right to my windshield no problem and it solid. It’s not moving at all. It’s awesome so therefore save me a bunch of money and then having to buy a whole new front dash camera cause it wouldn’t stay on the windshield anymore after so many years being in the sun so definitely buy this. It’s definitely very inexpensive and it definitely saves you a lot of money than having to buy a whole new dash camera or whatever you’re trying to have it hold up for you on your windshield or whatever have you
