Have been using an old version of PS elements for years but couldn't get it to work on windows 10. As I probably use photo editing software less than I used to I was reluctant to pay circa £70 for the new version so decided to try Gimp - it's an excellent piece of software easily comparable to PSE and having played around with it for a few days am very happy with it. When you compare the functionality, user friendliness and low cost of the software what's not to like. I would also point out that the seller is contactable by email for advice or any required help - not a lot do that these days.

Give it a go, and allow yourself a little time to learn. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
This is an extremely comprehensive program. Many of the features are beyond my need as an photo editor and for which my overall requirements are limited.There are numerous forums, tutorials and clips on Youtube to help you from basic information to more complex projects.I am already aware that this can be downloaded for free. However, I am very happy with my purchase and the dedicated support, as promised with the purchase, and which I have already used.I have used Adobe for many years now, and it is difficult to remember the need of a learning curve. There are certainly a lot more software programs available for simple phot edits.I am looking forward to explore GIMP and sure this will be invaluable resource for me and for anybody else that wants to go that little bit further.

Beware of the eye-watering Gimp!
apalling! Bad! What more is there to say? I thought it might give me an idea or two as I start my Photoshop C5 course, but it was an eye-watering moment when I opened it.Despite my computer saying it had fully installed, the text was grey and indistinct. The dashboard also grey, didn't fit properly and everything about it was shoddy. Basically, it was programming beyond belief! An 8 year old would have done a better job! I guess you could say I didn't like it...

Good value product
The product was delivered on time and came with easy to follow instructions and loaded without trouble into my Windows 10 machine. There's a manual on the disk which I've put in my manuals folder. There's also a lot of on-line help available via Google search so although the package is very comprehensive you can find out how to use the various tools quite readily.

Easy to understand
Loaded easily to my windows 10 laptop, well laid out software, did all I was looking for. Connected well to my scanner. Excellent value for money

It works with windows 10
Ever since I changed to Windows 10 at the beginning of the year I have been trying to find software to bring it up to the capability I had with Windows 7. The plus with this software is most things I have tried to do has worked. The minus is the HELP is pretty hopeless. There is many things I want to do but I haven't managed to figure out how to do it.

Very Good Software and excellent supprort
I was very please with this software and the support was so good too. I asked a question and received a reply very quickly. I was then able to install an extra add on which I was pleased with. If only all support could be as good as this. It gives you confidence when you are helped and you get a friendly and speedy reply. I will look to see what else they sell.
