100% cotton woven yoga mat / yoga rug. These mats provide excellent grip, paricularly if you sweat heavily during your practice. They are often used on top of another yoga mat, to provide a stable surface on which to practice, but can be used on their own when placed on a non-slip surface. Particularly good for absorbing sweat produced in yoga practices such as Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Hot Yoga, Power Yoga or Bikram Yoga, whilst still providing good grip. Also great for other styles of Yoga if you prefer a natural feeling surface on which to practice. To provide instant grip before you've produced sweat, simply spray the mat with water. The Shiva's trident design is woven into the mat and provides a useful guide for alignment during your practice. Can be rolled or folded. Made in India.
