Shirataki Noodles (170g) by Yutaka (Case of 12)

Those who complain about the taste do not know how to cook, these are great Shirataki NoodlesShirataki is flavourless, it's like the Tofu of the noodle world, it absorbes the flavour of whatever you put it in, they are really good fried in butter with curry powder.For those who are wondering these noodles are quite a good thick size (about a medium i'd say) so have a good texture if you prefere thicker noodles.And perfect for anyone on a Ketogenic Diet.

my delivery was 3 weeks late and when i called the seller they said the package was damaged in the post so they would post it again, and they did and i received it 24 hours later which is why i dont believe what i was told over the phone. Anyway, I hate the taste of this product, I followed the instructions on the package and tried other and recipes of cooking it but no matter what I do it tastes like plastic. maybe this is what its supposed like but i think its far too expensive for what it it, I will not be buying it again, especially from this company and will look for a different make noodles.

These area great dieting tool, for example, mix with a can of tuna and red pepper meze for a filling, lo-cal meal. I use them whenever I want noodles without the carbs.I don't notice any unusual smell or taste although they have a slightly weird texture/feel in the mouth.Sushisushi always seem to ship them next day rather than the 4-5 days advised.Give them a try, they might be just what you need to shift some fat.

Lovely product, easily absorbs any flavor added to it. Excellent alternative to carbs . The initial smell of product may be a little of putting for some but you know what you can treat these noodles like any other noodles and like with anything new that you try it may be an acquired taste.

Was dubious about these noodles at first, but love them.Yes, they do have a very strong odour, as reported by other reviewers, but if you rinse them well they are okay. They are a fantastic resource for any low carbo diet, and bulk out meals for times when you just want some 'bite' to your food.

Great product for us weightwatchers! Make sure you give it a good rinse or soaking before cooking to get rid of the smell. They can be microwaved. I found them best teamed with a spicy sauce or a curry as they are a tad bland on their own. I think they are filling and are good mixed with julienned vegetable noodles or a small amount of regular noodles. Will buy again when I've eaten this lot!
