Why get the conbination kit

The kit includes the canvas bag and the square trivet that fits on top. Both are handy but not necessary. Depends on how much money you care to spend.

We provide full support and guarantee that you get a product which will last for the rest of your life and which you can probably pass on to your children.If on the other hand you are only interested in buying cheap, don't care about what quality the material is, how much water will be contaminated in the manufacturing process, if you do not need any support or anyone who will be there for you if there is a problem, if you don't need any warranty - then you can surely find a cheaper stove in China.

will it fit in a Bug Out Bag? I would love to get it but I want to make sure I can still fit into a BOB for emergencies and the like

It should fit. Lays flat in it's own bag. Don't have product handy right now but maybe approx. 5x7 in?. Mine was stainless so it has some weight to it. Very well made though. Check out you tube-- they have a few videos about it. Make sure it is the xl combo. The product came from Germany so it took a while for me to receive it.
