Works well and very easy to use
I struggled to find a set of test papers with decent reviews so I just wanted to report back for anyone else who's looking that these definitely do work! I tested them with a mild acid (lime juice), tap water, and a mild alkaline (bicarb of soda) and you can see in the attached picture that they give clear coloured results which match up nicely to the colour chart provided. Now that I know they work I'm off to test my garden soil!

A good value for an average estimate of pH values.
These are a good general strip for testing pH values of urine, saline or other liquids etc. They're very reasonable, there are 200 in a box and you can use just half a strip, so you could get 400 uses if necessary. They are divided into 10 little booklets with 20 strips in each and the colour chart is inside the covers of the booklet. The numbers however are only in full numbers, eg 5-6-7 and not subdivisions like 6-6.25-6.5 etc which I prefer as they're more accurate. I also found, that since the booklet is just held together with a kind of staple, it starts to come part half way through. This isnt a real problem as you can keep them in a small bottle or dish, and as long as they don't come in contact with bodily fluids or other substances that alter them, then they'd be fine. You wait about 15-30 seconds to get the full and final result, as you would with all such kits. Good value if you're not concerned about being really exact.

It was good, it could have been handled better before to sending I to me. Some of the papers were already green.

Reliable and economic for ball-park estimates of pH
I bought these to estimate soil pH. I first tested them by putting them in known acid [a small amount of Harpic diluted into a lot of water] and got a pH reading of 1, then into known alkali [a small amount of bleach diluted in a lot of water] and I got a pH of 11, whereas tap water had a pH of ~6. Soil samples mixed with water consistently gave pH of ~5. I conclude that this product is a reliable and economic way of measuring the pH of soil and other materials. The only slight problem is that, because of the very wide pH range covered [1-11] the sensitivity is low, ie. a change of 1 pH unit causes only a modest change in colour. More accurate pH measurement would require papers with a smaller range, or sophisticated expensive apparatus.

Does what it says on pack
They perforated so come apart easily. They're fast acting and appear accurate. Bought for medical testing and worked well. Large amount in package but if need more will buy these again.

Good quality
Very easy to use and give consistent results - which is why I went for these British made, branded papers instead of the very cheap imports
