It leaves a residue like it's an instant coffee.
I got this for under three dollars, so I'm not sure if that was for freshness. It wasn't bad. It was a tolerable drink. More like instant than ground brew. But it also came in an eco friendly pod. It was worth trying it, but I'd never buy otherwise.

Brilliant
I love my one cup coffee maker but felt guilty about all the plastic! These make that a non issue and the coffee is rich and dark and delicious! Treat yourself and help the planet!

Strong and sustainable
Pod has minimal plastic and is compostable. Coffee flavor is comparable to other higher priced brands.

It was okay.
I'll preface this by saying our family likes coffee that's more of a "kick you in your butt, it's time to wake up" bold. This was drinkable, but we felt it was rather bland. It could be the coffee, but it could also be the compostable pods. We've tried several and didn't care for any of them. I suspect they lose a bit of their freshness because they're not air tight.

Not bold and not composting
I had such high hopes for this nicely titled product. It does have a plastic feeling ring on the k cup which is not breaking down in my garden so not going to promote this item for composting. It also is not a dark bold coffee like I had hoped. I do like the way it fits in the k cup and appreciate they tried to make it a green product but I would not buy this one again just cause I love a bold brew.
