Rossomoka 100 Nespresso Compatible Capsules - Lungo Crema Intenso

For the price you can't go wrong with these pods really. The taste is comparable to the proper pods but they are less than half the price. The pods arrive in foil bags of 20 so you can have a few days worth of pods out and the rest still sealed away in the cupboard. They fit and work pretty much the same as the proper pods, but sometimes can be a bit tougher to lock in place, and most importantly they provide a lovely tasting coffee.However there are a few minor niggles I've found so far. In the 2 packs of 100 I have received there has been about 3 broken pods, which has resulted in coffee being loose inside the larger foil bags, and there has been another 2 or 3 which provide quite weak coffee. But then again going back to the price, and these being over half the price of the Nespresso pods, having about 5 or 6 out of 100 being unusable seems a good compromise.

I purchased these after trying the original Nespresso pods and other third party ones.They come well packaged and in packs of 10. The foil seal at either end means that the coffee maker has no trouble piercing the pod. I've had trouble with 3rd party pods before but these are fine. You get a really good flow rate from them too. The coffee is good. It is tasty and holds it's flavour well if you use it make latte, macchiato or Americano drinks. As a straight espresso it's perfectly drinkable and is a great everyday coffee. Comparing it to original pods though I think it lacks depth. I don't find myself going "Ahhhh..." and signing when I take my first sip in the morning. I will definitely buy more these, the price is very good for nice coffee. I'll use them most days. I'll make Lattes and Americanos with them and give them to guests who don't appreciate espresso. I'll save my Originals for times like Sunday morning when I've got a little more time to enjoy it.

These capsules are fully compatible with my Magimix Citiz M190. They have foil seals at both ends of the pod. The pods themselves come in white foil bags which you should open as you use them. They have a long expiry date. There is no branding on the foil bags or pods.I'm no coffee connoisseur. I can say that this tastes like coffee and makes a nice crema when used.It tastes quite nice (to me) and has the familiar slightly bitter aftertaste at the end of cup that I would normally associate with reasonably decent coffee. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of this for the price paid - i.e. it was much better than I was anticipating.The coffee is well rounded and has a very good coffee aroma.I may well be buying more of this later on if its available.

Well, I'm an avid coffee drinker & I found this coffee a bit on the weak side for me? Yes it has a creamy taste but also has a taste of hops?? It reminds me of when I used to walk past a brewery and the pungent smell that was there though I must say that this coffee does not smell/taste as bad!I'd say it was drinkable but feel I have to add some of my own, stronger coffee to it. I think maybe that I should have bought one without the creamy taste?Apart from all that, it's not a horrible drink of coffee, just a weak one, for me.Last but not least, the pods are a little smaller than the original ones so it's a bit finnicky when trying to use one.I would like to taste a stronger coffee from them, just to see if I'd like to order from them again but a different flavour.The postage was fantastic! I think it just took two days to get to me!

I must have been under a spell of unprecedented magnitude to think that a price point of 10p per cup for these Rossomoka pods was going to provide some sort of pleasurable experience.This coffee is truly awful whether served as an expresso, lungo or as a latte. The coffee aroma and taste are weak and bitter as well as possessing all the elegance and quality a North Korean roast should one exist of course. The smell alone will ensure that any potential sale of your house would not be possible if you made this coffee whilst people came around to view the property.My advice therefore, is to avoid Rossomoka Lungo Crema Intenso capsules at all cost, with a few exceptions you get what you pay for these days.The exception? Well, personally I will gladly stick to my ALDI Nespresso Ristretto coffee pods (strength 10) which at a more realistic price point of 17p per cup, are very competitive on price and indeed have a beautiful (house selling) aroma with a strong, powerful and rich taste.Importantly in keeping with the vast majority of products ALDI sell the price is certainly competitive however there is NO compromise on quality whatsoever and their Nespresso Ristretto at £1.69 for 10 pods is no exception.Onward! Lesson learned.

I love good coffee, Nespresso in particular and have tried many compatible products over the last couple of years to try to find a cost effective alternative to the official brand. Either the coffee has been disappointing or the capsules haven't been 100% compatible causing machine jams and other issues. Then I found this. The coffee is consistent in flavour, with a good crema top with and gives that aah response from first sip to last. The bonus is that the capsules work as well as nespresso ones and are at a price you can afford. I still buy the originals for an occasional change but since I discovered these they have become my main source of aah's.......highly recommended.
