10.00 Inch Table Lamp Shade - Marble Green Canvas Desk Lampshade (Uno Fitting)

I like the lamp shade very much. The color and texture was as shown in the photo and the shade is well made. What surprised me was the location of the "uno" fitting. It was even with the bottom of the shade which placed the shade way too high for my table lamps. What to do? With a dremel I honed out the size of the uno hole. Then I cannibalized two old uno shades and glued the metal to the new shades, which lowered the shade about 3.5 inches. Came out okay, I think, but the seller should let buyers know that the uno fitting is flush with the bottom of the share.

Arrived ahead of schedule from Chinese indentured servants, as 'expected', these days--no doubt.Unlike these posted ad-images, even at the slight top-down angle view of its prototype, the actual acrylic 'web' suspension and both horizontal+vertical framework is visible; the composition of- which's not mentioned in 'dexcrption'. This lamp-shade has no durable metal-wire structure, and who over the age of 35 hasn't already noticed just how brittle even brand-new, hardened acrylic products already are--let alone after three-five years exposure to either heat or U.V. light? & then there's the otherwise negligible consideration of whatever short-lived aesthetic value: only appears nearly as colorfully vibrant in full day-light while your lamp's off, but just wait til it's lit from within to see how 'retro-1970' it really is! Lamp shade after a year, the inside plastic is bridle and easy to burn. My lamp shade fell and shattered to pieces. The light bulb also melted a part of the plastic causing the shade to tip over and fall. I contacted the company and they responded by sending me to a link to Repurchase the same item,

The shade came well packaged but it’s so ugly! It’s got a weird clear plexiglass fitting inside instead of the normal wire, the color is a really unappealing green, and it just looks cheap. Super disappointed. I was really looking forward to getting it. :(

As another reviewer noted, this shade is good quality but the design is flawed. I tried with a couple of my uno-fit lamps and for both, the shade failed to cover the bottom portion of the light bulb. This renders the shade useless since it looks oddly disproportionate, and the glaring light is too obtrusive. The problem is indeed the acrylic bottom "plate" which sits flush with the shade. It should sit several inches above the shade in order to fully cover the bulb. As you can see from my photo, if the shade hovers way too high above the bulb. Luckily, I too have a dremel and will have to put in some work to expand the hole. Will also have to go rummage for old lamp shades and take out their frames and glue them to this one. A lot of extra work.

These shades are so lovely! I did not expect the clear acrylic webbing(I am sure I missed it in the description) . But OH! I am doing a sea theme in my RV and I bought some lamp bases second hand. These lamp shades are just perfect! It is a very good thing they package them well, one of mine came in a partially smooshed box, i was worried , but when i removed the packaging it was okay. all around , these are a nice buy!

These lampshades are true conversation pieces! Everyone who comes in the room spots them immediately. The question is always ‘where did you get them?’ I have them on clear acrylic lamps so they look like they are just ‘floating’! Great color swirl.

This lamp is so beautiful, the colors are vibrant and pretty. it's a good size. The only weird thing is the top is clear plastic or plexiglass and it has a little hole that the light bulb goes through and it didn't fit all the way onto my LED light bulb. So I had to use a drill bit to make it a little bit larger and it looks beautiful, just be careful if you do that not to split the plastic.
