Yoga is a wonderful way to reduce stress, increase strength, tone muscle, cultivate flexibility, and improve overall health. Filmed on a lush, tranquil location overlooking the Pacific Ocean, these two 30-minute programs offer great variety for your practice. The Hatha session will relieve stress, increase flexibility and recharge circulation as it guides you step-by-step through a breakdown of static poses using the strap, belt or towel to aid in stretching. The flow session will build strength and stamina by taking postures from Ashtanga yoga and sequencing them into a simple, natural flow that aids in weight loss, tones muscle, improves balance and calms mental focus. These two diverse programs may be practiced individually but are also perfect to complement each other in the same day. Enjoy both sessions as they create breath awareness and foster clarity between your mind, body and spirit to help you realize your optimal potential.

A really great yoga DVD
I love both parts of this DVD. The teacher explains really well and clearly. The two workout are very different. The Hatha section is restful, mainly stretching and breathing. You do need a yoga strap or towel for this one. The flow section is strengthening and invigorating. The flow is quite fast moving and I found it difficult to follow the first few times, but it's worth sticking with it, it has helped my co-ordination.

Absolutely beautiful video
I have a lot of the element DVDs and this is one of the best (along with Mia Togo and Elena Brower). The instructions are clear and easy to follow, the flow is beautiful. Tamal is a great instructor and it's the perfect start to a day. It's a great stretch for the body and calming for the mind. Nameste and Aloha.

Great foundation for learning yoga. Challenging enough for me
I bought this DVD some time ago. I have short muscles from cycling and not stretching. So I find this video challenging. Tamal Dodge is a super instructor. He is clear in his instruction, and encourages you to do hat you can. His manor is relaxing and kind. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn yoga.It may not be the best video if you are looking for a fast pasted sweaty flow.Contains two 30-min workouts. I find they compliment a morning and evening routine.I've since bought his other two videos. And find them all fantastic. The routines and focus vary enough for me to feel like they are all worth doing each week.I hope with these videos my tight muscles will be a thing of the past.Thank you 😀

Excellent Yoga Guidance
I've been doing yoga for 10+ years and I'll always be a beginner. This is an excellent addition to my yoga training collection because the instructor is clear, detailed and works at a steady pace. Folk struggling with the postures are missing the point. Many of us (I am one such) will never achieve this level of competence - we are simply not wired up this way. Focus on the breathing, the mindset and adopt the postures as much as you wish. Listen to what the instructor says and be kind to yourself. Daily yoga and micro improvement are your goals...and this video is a great tool for doing just that.

Not for a begginers
Nice but I don't think its for begginers also It is nice when the voice is actually tellin with side of the body is done its most of the time oposite if you need to look at the screen can be confusing bor a beginner.

Good-ish for beginners
I have never done yoga before and will admit I am not very fit so I wanted something to ease me into yoga. The Hatha section was good for a beginner like myself, I struggled of course but was able to follow the moves and keep my balance even if I couldn't push my body as much as I'd like. The Flow section however I would not say is for beginners. I found it extremely difficult, there was a lot of pressure on my wrists and I found the transitions between moves too fast. But overall I am happy with the DVD for the cost. I will continue to practise and hopefully the Flow section won't be so hard as time goes on.

I spent a good half a day researching beginner Yoga DVDs
I spent a good half a day researching beginner Yoga DVDs. I have never done Yoga, however, a couple of decades of lifting weights and I am beginning to get some aches and pains. I am also incredibly inflexible. Very tight tendons and tight hamstrings. I literally could only get just below my knees if I tried to touch my toes! Anyway, after research I found Tamal's relaxing manner enough for me to buy his DVD. He comes across as a nice guy but, most importantly, explains things well. He does not patrionise and I made it through both workouts on the disc first time (although I did feel like I had been in 17 Richard Hammond crashes after). However, the next day I got to within a few inches of my toes! I do think Yoga is beneficial to the human body as we age and will continue with this DVD and exercise regimen. If you are new to Yoga and don't want to feel out of your depth in this new, strange world, I would recommend this.

Very good.
I'm not disappointed that I purchased this item, however I feel it's not the same watching the tv screen as it is attending a class with teacher & others from all age brackets. The atmosphere just isn't there for me & so I felt I really couldn't connect as I would in a class situation. For those with a dedicated TV room it would probably be more appropriate to get in the mood.
