I used to use the African Pride Scalp and Hair Strengthening Tonic Leave In Conditioner. It was the best moisturizer I have ever used. But then they discontinued it...sigh. I managed to snag some bottles that stores/folks had been hoarding and that held me over for a couple of years. But alas, I could not find it anywhere. So I tried this hoping that it was a repackaged version of the one I loved. It's not. That said, it works well. I have been using it for a couple of weeks, on both wet and dry hair (as I had used the other leave in) and can tell that it does make my hair soft. It's also very light, which is good because I have fine hair. I'm knocking off one star because it's more like a lotion/light cream as opposed to an oily liquid (like the other leave in) like I prefer because I have fine hair and am hyper sensitive of anything that might weigh my hair down. Also, it has chemically ingredients in it, unlike the other leave in, which also makes me wary since I really liked the idea of just putting roots and berries in my hair :-). But all in all, it's good and I will continue to use it.

Magic !!!
MAGIC! This is so good that it looks like Harry Potter conjured the reparo spell on my hair ⚡️⚡️⚡️. It's kinda astringent, so I believe it constricts the hair strands, "calming" it down. For men, I use hairspray on the sides to avoid it getting out of place.
