Excellent Portable Monitor for Work and Play!
I recently purchased the KYY Portable Monitor, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Here are some highlights from my experience: Pros: Stunning Display: The 15.6'' FHD 1080P screen delivers crisp and vibrant visuals, making it perfect for both work and gaming. Versatile Connectivity: With USB-C and HDMI ports, I can easily connect it to my laptop, phone, and gaming consoles like the PS5 and Switch. Portable and Convenient: The included smart cover bag makes it easy to carry around, and the monitor itself is lightweight and slim. Built-in Speakers: The dual speakers provide decent sound quality, which is great for on-the-go use. HDR Support: The HDR feature enhances the overall viewing experience, especially when watching movies or playing games. Cons: Speaker Quality: While the built-in speakers are convenient, they lack bass and depth. I prefer using external speakers or headphones for a better audio experience. Stand Stability: The smart cover works as a stand, but it can be a bit flimsy on uneven surfaces. Overall, the KYY Portable Monitor is a fantastic addition to my tech setup. It's perfect for anyone who needs a reliable and high-quality external screen for work, travel, or gaming. Highly recommended!

Make life easier - add another screen to your laptop
Work sometimes requires me to spend a night or two on the road, and working on a laptop in a motel room can be frustrating. The solution? Add another screen. The KYY monitor connects easily to my laptop, provides a large display that’s bright and easy to see. The case creates a stand for it. The tilt can be adjusted slightly but I’ve found it’s generally at a good angle for desk work. I keep the screen in my briefcase so it’s always with me - and the case protects it well. It’s dependable and makes life on the road more productive.

Works good for a temporary workspace, but not good for permanent use
Bought two of these to use while traveling, and they do work as advertised. However, they don't work great for semi-permanent setups. PROs: - The power passthru works; can plug my USB-PD charger into the monitor and USB-C between the monitor and PC. PC is powered and monitor gets video. - Can use with a single USB-C cable while traveling - Image quality is decent, and screen is sufficiently bright (screen is brighter when connected to a separate power adapter, though). I didn't buy or use these for gaming, just work, so I can't comment on how they'd perform for games CONs: - Laptop will not sleep when these are connected. It always wakes my PC up, so I have to disconnect them before closing the lid. Tried on two different laptops of different make/model/chipset, so I'm fairly confident it's something with the monitor. Note: This was connected via USB-C, and I didn't test to see if it had the same behavior with HDMI since I bought them specifically to use in single cable mode. - You cannot daisy-chain the monitors. The monitor's second USB-C port does not pass USB or video and only seems capable of passing power. Multiple of these will work if you connect each to its own USB-C/HDMI port, though. - Power delivery passthru is wonky at times. Sometimes it will just stop sending power, and I'll have to disconnect the monitor from both the PD supply *and* the PC to reset it. Summary: These are great to keep in your laptop bag for one-off or occasional use, but don't plan to use them in any kind of permanent or semi-permanent setups.

Look into using this with your phone. Very cool stuff!
For the Price this is a totally fantastic monitor. The stand/cover takes a moment to figure out if you have not used this design before, but there is a little guide card that is laminated so you could keep that as a handy reminder. It really is quite simple. I wish the magnets were a little stronger, but honestly, considering this is the included cover and stand, and the unit is priced as it is. I can't complain. You could always use some other stand if you wanted, it does not need to use the case. It so far has had 0 issues in that I can see, it does not have a battery, but none do at this price. But their smart dual USB port and pass though design is really slick. 1 usb c cable is all you need if you have enough phone battery, or just plug the monitor into a battery brick or the wall and it will run the monitor/phone and charge all at the same time! Also I don't have IOS so I am not sure about it, but most newer and some quite old Android devices have a feature called DEX. This may be branded differently, but it makes your phone into an android desktop that in many ways works just like a Linux desktop. Meaning things like Remote gaming with Moonlight/Sunshine and remote desktops like RDP/VNC give you access to your home computer and its horse power from anywhere if you have a VPN. This is an over looked feature IMO. Check it out if you get one of these kinds of monitors. Try pairing a keyboard and mouse or even a game controller or nice speaker. Anything Bluetooth. It is a full blown workstation. I am super happy after receiving it.

Perfect portable monitor for multicam setups
I bought this so I could have a slim, easy-to-transport monitor for my multicam setup, and it works like a charm. It lets me see multiple camera feeds all in one place, which makes my workflow so much easier. One of my favorite things is that it doesn’t need to be plugged into an outlet. It can be powered directly from an external battery pack, which is perfect for shooting on location. I recommend getting a stand for it to make positioning easier, but other than that, it gets the job done and is extremely affordable. Excellent value for creators, streamers, or anyone who needs a reliable second screen on the go.

Great product
Very good product, I recommend it. I've used it for a week now, on my work laptop (MacBook Pro M1). It's easy to connect, and there's no latency between the two screens. I've used it to view documents, videos, and even radiology images that require high definition, and it looks great. The colors look good. The only time I saw color distortion was when I activated HDR mode on the screen. It was resolved when I set it to AUTO in the on-screen menu. On the downside, it doesn't have a built-in battery, so it always depends on the device you're using it with, which makes the battery drain faster. I've had issues with the stand the first few times; it's a bit flimsy and tends to fall over. Despite all this, the experience is positive. I recommend the product. If I have any problems later, I'll update the rating. Thank you.

Solid, but the Stand is a Bit Flimsy
I got this portable monitor so I had more flexibility in my working location while working remotely. Given my field, multiple monitors helps tremendously. I believe the size is reasonable for my needs (working in Excel, reviewing videos and/or slide decks, etc). I chose this model specifically bc of the 2 USB-C ports and the available USB-A port. My only gripe is the stand (doubles as a case; the case function works well and is sturdy). I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to secure it appropriately, even after watching the tutorials. In retrospect, it’s it because the video was wrong or that I’m simply an idiot lol; it’s simply the fact that the magnetic portions for the stand aren’t that strong. I’ve lost count of how often the back of the stand will collapse. In the tutorial, it shows the tab sitting in front of the bottom of the monitor to hold it in place. The magnet is too weak to actually do that, so I have to sit the monitor on it to keep it from unfolding. I’ve included a some photos to demonstrate this. I have to physically hold it down, otherwise it flips open; therefore, I just lay the monitor on top of the tab. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and will continue to use it. I was very excited to get this, and the stands instability was disappointing, but not it’s not enough of an annoyance to return it and try to find something else. Although it is an annoyance nonetheless lol!
