Perfect for glass repairs
I dropped a glass ornament that's very dear to me and has been discontinued. I bought this repair kit and it really kept its promise. You can hardly see the repair, and it was easy to use and quick to cure. Brilliant!

Works and is easy to use.
I used this for a nest of coffee tables were the aluminium disk had all seared away from grass tops. Removing the old glue was the hardest part - but once done and surfaces cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol, I applied a thin layer with the brush supplied aligned it and illuminated it with the torch provided (batteries not supplied). Within a minute the glue has set enough to move the item. Advice from the internet on other products of this type recommends exposing the glued area to sunlight - outside. On jar would have done 20 nests of tables. Jars are supplied in blackout bags. Just remember can only be used on transparent items.

Great for repairing crystal glass
Read the instructions, appreciate and work within this product's limitations and you won't be disappointed.I my case I needed to repair an item of crystal glass. All of the birds had broken off the branch when the item had been dropped and a professional repair was going to be in the order of £100 - about the same as the piece was worth. The problem with most glues used on glass is that they discolour very quickly and leave a residue which is noticeable. This resin is almost like liquid glass and once applied is very difficult to see at all. You simply brush a thin coating on one side of the proposed join and then bring the other side into contact. At that stage you might need that you need three hands, as nothing will happen until you cure the joint by shining the UV torch on it. So you position the join, shine the UV beam, and a manageable join is made within 15 seconds or so - keep the UV going and a pretty strong bond is there after less than 30 seconds.Very impressive and cost effective - but remember that it will only bond items where the UV beam can reach. So if you want to join two opaque pieces - china, cardboard, metal, coloured plastic, etc., then look elsewhere.

cheap for what you get and it works
Chose this as value for money in order to try an alternative to S. G. and American "metal" weld. I was not optimistic in view of No. of negative comments but gave it a try on broken saucepan lid handle.First S. G. parts together and then applied a coat of this product in order to build up strength after cleaning with meths. Shone torch on hard to get at area inside handle for a bit longer than suggested. The overspill bits I could easily see were rock hard and well stuck to handle material ( some sort of "plastic" type material). I then repeated this twice to build up thickness with same results. left out in cloudy day to make sure fully hardened. It rained but final result was perfect although I am sure it was with the torch.I have now used the saucepan and lid for about 10 hours rolling boil and handle is OK.I can only say that this works perfectly if instructions are closely followed. People who had thick unusable liquid must have been using liquid which had been exposed to light. You clearly must store this in the dark as instructed other wise it will go off. The liquid I got was quite runny - a little thicker than olive oil or thin custard. Maybe over time the liquid may still thicken up, I don't know, but all " glues" deteriorate over time and have to be thrown away Nothing is forever..

Kind of works
Works well in some use cases but not others. Great for fixing glass and other materials where light can travel all the way through. I've not had a lot of luck though with other materials so far.

Right for the job
I used this to fix some refrigerator shelves which cracked and couldn't stay repaired with glue or resin, and I've got to say it's done the job brilliantly. it's saved me a fortune as spare parts for fridges are extortionate. I've given it 5 stars since it's done the job I wanted it to but...1. The torch they sent me first time didn't work but they happily replaced it on being contacted , (it's a good little blue-light UV Torch too).2. The torch on it's own didn't cure the adhesive. I had to leave the items out in the sun for a day. This however did cure it very effectively.3. It allegedly fixes delicate and fragile items but I can't confirm that. I was after strength rather than aesthetics and so there's a thick transparent weld across the items where they were stuck. That doesn't worry me or effect the way the shelves work,

Almost invisible, seems strong, needs sunlight
Fixed broken glass from a wall clock with this adhesive. Seems strong and almost invisible. Needs sunlight to set properly.
