Don’t do it
It was at a very cheap price so I tried this item. The install was very well but when I use it for 15 minutes, it overheated on me and shut off my Soundsystem amplifier overheats way too often. I would not recommend to buy this

Sounds great if you have good speakers.
If you have cheap speakers it just makes them worse. I upgraded to good speakers and the sound is now amazing and can go loud enough to rattle my fillings.

Sound quality and price
Only buy if you want something for a short-term. This thing work less than 30 days and two of the channels weren't working anymore. I'm no stereo install professional, but I've installed dozens of amps in the past. This is in ones been the biggest disappointment.

Good amp but had an issue for me
I bought this amp to power the exterior and interior speakers of the RV trailer. I planned on using one channel for exterior speakers, and the other two channels for the interior speakers using the high-level inputs. On the RV DVD player, there is buttons for A B C, which selects what channels you want to turn on. A Would be interior and B Was exterior. so after hooking up this amp and getting everything installed. I found running the interior speakers with button B off for the exteriors I was still getting feed through on the amp and was sending roughly about maybe five or 10% power to the exterior speakers. So when I didn’t want sound outside, I was still getting sound outside. Once I turned on channel B, then I would get full power to the exterior of the speakers. I am not quite sure why I was getting feed through in the amp when was on its own high-level input and a was on its own high-level input. I ended up sending this back and got two SSL small amps to replace it. Now my issue is solved. Why am giving it three stars and not anything less. What I can say is it was plugged in it seem to have plenty of power and did sound good. But with the feed through problem, the amp was giving me it would not work for my situation. But it would probably work perfectly fine for anybody installing it in a car for front and rear speakers.

Why Are These Rated 1200W?
Being curious, I bought this Autotek TA1255.4 for the sole purpose of testing it out to determine the true output power. It is only rated in "max" power, which is meaningless. It is important to understand the true power and also what you are getting for your money. The TA1255.4 is rated as follows:150x4 at 4 ohms "max"300x4 at 2 ohms "max"600x2 bridged at 4 ohms "max"My measured true output power was as follows:(1kHz, 1% THD, 14.4V)35x4 at 4 ohms48x4 at 2 ohms100x2 bridged at 4 ohmsAs you can see the real numbers are literally 1/6th of the ratings they provide. Deceptive marketing? Up for you to decide. In all honesty, some of you may say "what do you expect for $60?" and there is some truth to this. I don't have an issue with the value, it's the perception of what you are getting vs what you are actually receiving. Not a terrible amp, just cheap, single sided board, Class A/B amp with very cheap components. Not much to say. It amplifies music and doesn't sound horrible. May be all some people need for an ultra budget system.
