Sturdy
Sturdy, good price and good size. I have 6 rescued ex batt girls. Took them a while to learn how to feed from it but no more scattering food for them, I had 1 years ago with then rescued ex batt hens (both times from Hens4Homes) and it was great then too. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this

Just what I was looking for
A good sturdy feeder. I think previous issues with legs must have been resolved as mine don't come off! Super weather-proof - rain doesn't get in - and the chickens seem to be able to get the food even though it's quite low. Suitable for around five chickens...

Does it’s job.
Sturdy easy to fill/clean. Only criticism is the legs are a bit short so I’ve put ours on bricks.

Keeps pellets dry
Excellent chicken feeder. It really does keep the pellets dry during heavy rain which I usually find a problem as they swell and turn into mash. Highly recommend.

A very sturdy feeder. Heavy duty thick plastic
A very sturdy feeder. Heavy duty thick plastic. Easy to assemble. Metal handle has to be inserted in the middle of hopper which involves pulling the sides out to allow insertion of handle. I was a little worried that I would break the hopper by doing this, but found this feeder is so well built that there is no danger of this happening. Costs more than other feeders on Amazon, but I think this one will still be in use long after the cheap ones have gone to the great recycler in the sky. My hens were a bit bewildered by the UFO that had landed in their run but soon got over it. Bought from Happy Chicks and got great service.

Great chicken feeder
Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is sometimes the food gets stuck and doesn't come down so chicken can't get it. Little shake and it comes down nicely. Did have to raise it a bit higher for our chickens but we have a disabled one.

Not Bad at all
This product works well and protects from food from rain. Its large capacity could keep my birds going for a few days and is raised off the ground which is a deterrent for critters. Unfortunately however my chickens and ducks are terrified of it so its just an ornament in their area.. This said I have two of these and one day my girls might use....:)
