My First Story Writing Book: 1 (Write Your Own)

This is a great book for keen writers/storytellers and went down so well with my 7 year old niece

My daughter absolutely loved this book. Kept her busy for ages and had filled her with good ideas and enthusiasm for creative writing. I totally recommend it for any kid that has started writing in full sentences but needs a wee push to put them together as something meaningful.

My friends daughter has loved being creative and writing. The book is beautiful and lends itself to encourage children to write in a fun creative way. Great buy, great value!

I was hoping for more empty pages, however inside its a lot of writing tasks, activities - not what I was expecting; I wish there was an example on the images to show, how it looks inside. I think is more for 6-7 year old, maybe even older...

Daughter loves to write and make up stories and loved this book, it's really engaging and the activities are different on each page

I bought this for my 7yr old son. He was not very fond on doing written task I set him at home but he loves this book, he has spent the whole afternoon describing characters and writing stories. This book real stimulates the imagination and independent writing. I shall be purchasing the next level story writing book also and hope it's just as good

This is a great book. Our daughter enjoying it so much and having lots of fun. Not long until she is a published author with a useful tool like this! :)

I bought this for my 8 yo son who is not keen on writing, and always writes the absolute minimum number of words/ sentences, to encourage him to write more. I wasn't sure what to expect but let me tell you, up close this book is even better. Very good quality, beautiful pictures, child-friendly. My son LOVED it and immediately started writing stories! I was soooooo happy... happy mom!

Such a cute book for beginners who you want to encourage and explore writing.

great book to learn from.

This is the second time I'm purchasing this because we love it so much! My oldest loved it and it really helped him think through storywriting, my second son wanted one just like it. I would say this is great for a proficient 2nd grader but probably more fit for a third grader or a slow to write fourth grader. Both my boys have hated to write but this really helped them get on their way. It's seriously a fun book that I would've loved to have at any elementary age.

This book has prompted my seven-year-old son to start writing his own story. He used to hate writing lessons and what always reluctant to write. But now he writes every day which is incredible and he loves it.
