Fixed my problem
Easy to install and it fixed the problem I was having with my truck shutting off

Not worth the effort
The valve failed to close completely after just a few weeks, causing another small evap leak. Saving a few bucks ain't worth the aggrevation. Order an OEM part.

Does what it's supposed to!
My car had its check engine light come on and the code indicated it was stis valve. Auto Zone wanted $49 for the part. I found this part on Amazon forcless than half that price, with many positive reviews, and decided to give it a shot.The part was simple to swap out, taking literally less than 15 minutes. I unplugged my car's battery for a few minutes to clear the check engine light. After re-attaching the battery, the check engine light never came on again. That was about 3,000 miles ago, and still no check engine light!SUCCESS!!Asmall side note - I did re-use the 2 rubber grommets from my original part, as they were thicker than my new part's grommets. Your car may vary, so look for that possibility.Other than that, I'd absolutely recommend this valve! đ

Fits but have to reuse old bushing
It fits but you have to slide the old bushing off the old part and slide it into this part. Otherwise the screw doesnât go in all the way and could break off inside the housing. Just beware!
