As a home health nurse, I've set up a lot of different pill boxes. This one is roomy and the lids are easy to open. It is easy to fill because the lids lift out of the box and are fairly simple to fit back in.

My only negative is it’s a little bulky.

Easy to fill, and to use.

As a transplant recipient (thanks to my sister), I take A LOT of medicines and supplements. My collection of pillboxes numbers into the dozens. I've tried almost all of them, from everything the dollar stores sell, to the big monthly ones the pharmacy chains offer.I put my meds and supplements together four weeks at a time, and they are so voluminous that I keep a set of pillboxes for my medicine and another set for my supplements. I've learned the easiest way for me to put my pills in a pillbox is to remove the cover tabs, and I was concerned about conflicting information on the cover coming off but I am happy to report THE COVER CAN BE REMOVED. Unlike other pillboxes I've used (the current one is pictured above), next to this one - this one is the larger dark one), there are NOT separate slots for each side when the cover is put back in. What this means is that you MUST put both the am/pm back in TOGETHER - at the same time. The two fit together well (you'll see a small hole on one side and a matching indent on the other) and you HAVE to line them up and slide them in together - it was a bit of a pain the first time, but after trial and error, it becomes easier. The tabs close securely and the box is well made.In addition to being VERY LARGE, what I like about this pillbox that makes it stand out is that the center part, between am/pm, is full height - my other pillboxes have some cutout and that means it is easy when filling the pillbox, for small pills to fall into the gap (which is a royal pain) or bounce off one pill and move from one side to the other. Because this pillbox has the barriers between am/pm at full height, it is MUCH easier to than my other pillboxes.My pills fit comfortably in this pillbox and are easy to fill and remove. This is the first time I've wanted to give something better than a five star review.

I got these because they were described as extra large pill organizers. They are! The compartments hold a lot of large tablets. My calcium pills are huge. I don't really take a lot of pills but they are big. I don't have any problem getting them to fit inside and closing the lid securely. It has morning and night compartments. Perfect for me because I only take supplements twice a day. They are clearly marked. I opened up all the compartments and soaked the box in hot soapy water. I laid it upside down to dry. They are easy to clean out. The lids stay up as you are filling them. Very pleased!

Each side is a different color, so if you get in the habit of always placing your morning and afternoon medication in the correct color, it will help with remembering which is which. The compartments are easy to open, and easy to fill. They are a sufficient size for what I take, and this organizer is really pretty. It appears to be high quality, and is easy to use. Each compartment is labeled for the day of the week. So far, I really like it!
