Quirky, fun to use gadget, that really works.
When first tried this did not peel an apple correctly. However after loosening the wing nut that holds the cutter and adjusting the cutting blade distance, then retightening the nut, it seemed like a different machine. It preformed brilliantly and the apple was peeled and cored in 5 to 10 seconds. Many apples have been peeled and cored now and it’s still preforming well. For the price it’s surprisingly well made. Ok you could spend a lot of money and get a better engineered model, but for peeling apples once or twice a week this one is (once adjusted properly) brilliant value for money. I have just ordered another one to keep in the cupboard incase this one breaks, which I don’t see happening for some time yet. You won’t go back to hand peeling after using one of these.

A must have for every kitchen
Really good.A bit awkward to attach the apples/potatoes, but once you get it in it’s brilliant!Works extremely well for apples and the corer and slicer is amazing. Not quite as good for potatoes due to their irregular shape, but peels most of the skin off and is far faster and easier than with a normal peeler.

Apple Heaven
This is the perfect little machine for peeling Apples and Pears. It also cores them as well. Suction plate on the bottom holds it fast to your table. All you do is spear the fruit at the top end and turn the handle! Hey presto! One peeled and cored Apple in a few seconds! Totally manual, no electric involved! Brilliant little machine!

Appalling instructions
Virtually no instructions, but managed, I think, to work it by trial and error. If you remove the coring/spiralizing blade by loosening the butter fly screw you can just peel with out cutting or coring. I could not find a way to peel and core only. As I bought this for the apple harvest I think it will be great for peeling, but I will core by hand as I want quarters. Agree with others that it is great if peeling by hand is difficult.

Saves peeling when you have sore hands
No hand peeling. Peeler easy to use.

Good in theory
The suction pad doesn't work on any surface including glass .Makes it useless.

Easy peeler
So useful at this time of year when we get so many windfalls. Easy to use, but doesn't cope well with misshapen or over-ripe apples, they fall off or split. Great tool otherwise.

Does not live up to promise.
Parcel arrived and I thought I had ordered the wrong item. Box was different - looked cheap and tacky, but contents seemed OK. Easy to set up without referring to instructions as only handle to attach. And seemingly easy to use. Not too much effort is required to get an apple through - I was using nice large cooking apples. However - it does not peel very well - it turns regardless of whether it has peeled and you've missed your chance. Apples that are odd shaped (and I don't mean misshaped I just mean not like a child's drawing of an apple) will have sections not peeled and there is a need to keep applying manual pressure to the peeling blade as the apple turns to make sure it doesn't skip like the needle on a record. Not as easy as it sounds. It also means you end up losing more apple as peel than you might like. Also, despite being amazing at slicing as it goes, spiralizing and coring your fruit, the blade is made of some kind of cheap metal that browns the fruit instantly - even more than an old kitchen knife. As the process itself isn't faultlessly fast and smooth some of the fruit I was turning out looked like it had been left on the side for an hour when it was straight out of the machine. For the price I didn't expect ceramic cutting blades but whatever it is made from is worse than any other knife from the drawer. On the whole, in maybe 30 seconds you can have peeled cored and sliced an apple. But only if that apple is perfect will it (probably) be peeled and even then it will look unappetising and brown. It's going in the loft. Maybe to charity. Wouldn't recommend.
